Been watching The Trailer Park Boys thanks to this thread. UP to Season 4! :lmao:
I tried this out for a season and thought there were few LOL momeents.Side note for those looking for a good movie - I did find Searching For Bobby Fisher. Awesome movie. One of my favorites.

Started FIrefly lasyt night and watched the first 4 episodes. Already one of my favorite shows of all time, mostly because it reminds me of the video games I used to play as a kid where there were elements of spaceships/sci-fi and elements of westerns. What a great show.

"If I kill you, you will be awake...you will be looking at me...and you will be armed..."

"How come you didn't turn on me?" "The money wasn't good enough." "Well, we'll have to see what happens when you get a better offer."

Started watching Sons of Anarchy, about 3 eps into season one. Damn cool show, Segal and Pearlman are money.
Only gets better. Enjoy
Agreed. Wrapping up season 2 tonight. Really bummed that I'm out of episodes.
I thought Season 3 was REALLY uneven....but the last episode (and specifically the last 12 minutes) is some of the best television in a LONG time.
makes me forget about the fact that I did not love the entire season

I just watched The Rise and Fall of the WCW based on a recommendation in the Wrestling thread. Was pretty good

Bubbles alone is worth 4-5 LOL moments per show.
The episode I did like was the one where they are trying to make a porn. High comedy.
Just finished the 3rd episode. Not sure how I ever missed this show. Very funny. Bubbles is hysterical and J-Roc is a laugh too. Love that Julian has the same drink in every scene - even while driving the car and that every show has them firing off a gun at least once. Randy running around with his shirt off is unnerving. I have always has a thing for trashy redheads too so Sarah looks good.

Finally got around to watching Bottle Shock. Definitely recommend it.

Since joining Netflix I have found some really good foreign flicks that I would not have watched otherwise. Fear Me Not and How I Ended The Summer do not make that list. Avoid both.

The fact that Firefly only produced one season is clear evidence there is no God.Oh, and Fox is the devil.

I've watched the whole season through a few times, but it always ends up the same for me. I end up watching Serenity, Wash dies, I remember how much I hate Fox, and then for two weeks I have "burn the land, boil the sea/you can't take the sky from me" stuck in my head.

Come on guy.really? spoilers on six year old movies?

Through Ep. 13 of Claymore. It's a pretty dark anime in the same vein as Akira and the Spawn animated series. This show keeps getting better and better. Clare is a warrior.

3rd season was the Ireland season correct? I could not wait for that one to end.

Have you seen any episodes with Conky yet?
Watched most of season 1. I don't recall a Conky. As mentioned above the guy that always has a jack and coke is pretty funny as well. I may have to give season 2 a shot. Season 1 didn't do much for me.

Fox is useful for one thing only. NFL Sundays. Very bitter still.

Watched this just this week. It holds up. Really enjoyed it.

"The Cartel". About the corrupt public school system. This documentary focuses on NJ public schools. I talked to our district Superintendent (Who moved from a NJ superintendency) and he couldn't stop talking about the corruption.

Wife and I watched The Other Guys last night. Not bad for a mindless evening on the couch with a few laughs.

I thought this was terrible

"Stander" Thomas Jane plays, Andrea Stander, a South African cop turned bank robber. Based on a true story. Pretty solid flick. It gets a bit muddled at times trying to find a balance between telling the story of the crimes, Stander's relationships with his wife, father, his fellow cops, and the local black populace.

IMO it would have been a much better movie if they had spent more time on the actual capers (Stander was one balsy MF. Would rob a bank and then return later in the day as the investigating detective) than all of the other subplots.

Anyone else feel like the rating system knows them really well? Just about everything they say I'm going to love they're right about and those they rate as average for me are right on too. I've watched a few things specifically because they gave it a high rating for me that there's no way I would have seen otherwise and they've all been enjoyable. Very seldom does it lead me wrong.

I'm tempted to just stop rating things because it already has me figured out.

Netflix has announced a new deal with Miramax. New titles will be available for instant streaming as soon as June and includes...

The English Patient and Shakespeare in Love. Iconic titles such as Bad Santa, Chasing Amy, Cinema Paradiso, Clerks, Cold Mountain, From Dusk Till Dawn, Good Will Hunting, Kill Bill Volumes I and II, Muriel’s Wedding, The Piano, Pulp Fiction, Reindeer Games and many of the Halloween, Scary Movie, Scream and Spy Kids movies will be available over time.

BIG NEWS NETFLIXers - More Content Coming in June

Agreement With Miramax Big Win for NetFlix...

That is why the agreement between Netflix and Miramax announced today is a very important step for the movie subscription service. Netflix is paying a reported $100 million or so to stream Miramax movies on a rotating basis over the next five years. There will be areas of exclusivity, according to paidContent, when movies are not available on Netflix, such as when they are released on Blu-Ray. Been dying to stream Pulp Fiction from your iPad? Come June, that will no longer be a problem.

Miramax was one of the first big independent studios to make waves in the indie wave that hit the movie industry in the 1990s. It produced hits like Good Will Hunting among others and was soon a target by the big studios, eventually being acquired by Disney...
