FFA Wagering Thread: THERE HE IS!@! (5 Viewers)

I was expecting manning to be announced as the MVP today but i can't find any news on it anywhere :hophead:

last year it was announced the friday after the regular season ended. We've already heard rookie of the year, comeback player of the year, etc

C'mon lets get it over with

This Sunday. http://www.stampedeblue.com/2010/1/8/12411...e-with-2010-nfl
I needed that to cash today.....I'm trying for a personal record here.
:greedy:I don't know how you keep track of your winnings daily? It's too much for me, I do it weekly, but I will see where I am on Fridays to evaluate for the weekend.

How did you guys deposit into thegreek?

What other sportsbooks are essential for props? Mainly just for the Super Bowl.

Pretty intense line movement in hoops today  . Let's take a shot with Kenyon Martin under 24.5 points+rebounds -115 in the Cavs/Nuggets game tonight. Good luck!!

I would like some input here. I am starting to get ready for the Super Bowl and going to deposit a good chunk to some more online books. After the Super Bowl I will be done gambling until next football season, so you idiots won't have to deal with me anymore. Nonetheless, here's the books I have open. Break down the percentage you would have in each book and/or add in other books I should have. I have not been cut anywhere, so don't worry about that.

Here's what I would go with, but I really want some opinions. Bolded books are already funded with the percentage.

Sportsbook - 25%

Betonline - 17%

SIA - 22%

Matchbook - 10%

Greek - 14%

Bodog - 10%

Let's just say I want to dump another 15k online. :lmao: I don't have anything in Matchbook, Greek, or Bodog yet. Are these the books I should deposit at? Are these percentages off? Should I put more in Bodog? Less in Bodog? Do I open up at Carib?

Now this is where it gets tricky - I don't want to really open at sportsbetting.com. Even though their lines are obviously way off, I would like to save them for next football season. This crazy? Is there a chance they go under by then?

The SB, Betonline, SIA numbers really aren't going anywhere. If anything, I would like to take some out of SIA because I don't know if their Super Bowl props are great and from what I remember Betonline offered some very good ones last year and frankly I ran out of money there.

I do have one local that offers a $500 max on props which is good, but I need to work on getting him to up my credit limit as he only gives me 3k to use. The other local is tapped out for the season, my account is closed. Just got the last 3k form him today, took him for over 10k this football season alone.

This post got very long and I probably take the Super Bowl too serious, but I would really like some input from guys who have multiple accounts. Remember we are really focusing on Super Bowl props.

Shouldn't GooRoo or Lumpy be starting this? :excited:
They can start the official official thread lol. I had insomnia last night and got bored. Sorry
Nah, we'll be fine. Just remove the Official and asterisks crap and everything will be alright. PLEASE.
K
I love the asterisks. Effbrong
I think this thread looks a little better with some ellipses or maybe an ampersand or two

I'm not married to the asterisk, but some sort of cartographic punctuation would be appreciated

Props I bet at SB:

All 8 qbs first pass complete.

Westy un 3' rec -115 - big

Benson un 18' longest run -115

Sanchez no 1st half td -170

Sanchez un 14' completions -140 - big

Ooh, and I must say, I applaud the thread title changes. Way to go Bender. You're almost there. Let's nix the "thread", we know what it is.

2010 is going to be a year of change...even for ol' cosjobs. I know he can do it.

Been waiting for Hibbert to foul out for about an hour now.Come on man.
He's toast good buddy. 5-0 start. 14-0 run. 23-2 last 25. Stooooooooopid.
Dahntay Jones was a must start though right? He didnt start.
Not too sure, I try to catch those but I'm much more focused on the numbers. 4-0 +7u, 5-0 +8u, whatever it is, your local is going to hate you soon.Indeed a must start, JB. 4-0 +7u.

Hey Marshall, you graduate yet?
From college, yes, unfortunately. :goodposting: How do I get the feeling you aren't asking about college...
I actually was asking about college. You seem to be throwing around some big numbers and I was just wondering if you are at least working.

Hope aldridge shows up for the second half, i have him in like 7 different props tonight
Doesn't look good. He usually comes out like a wrecking ball in 1q and fades throughout. 2 pts 1q must be a season/career low for him. I know he's dealing with an injury. Played 41 min last game, but just isn't very active tonight. Alot of time left though, good luck Lump.

Not really, don't have a normal job yet, still just coach soccer trying to turn it into a career. Good money, but certainly part-time. I am betting lots more money because I have won a lot this year and I have virtually no overhead. I own my house and rent it to 3 other guys. Just pay for everything else and for a young guy like me isn't a lot.I am done gambling this year after the Super Bowl (a promise to the GF as she doesn't like the gambling habit) but starting this football season I am on pace for over 6 figures this year, so you do the math on what I am probably up. I reached my yearly goal I set in just 8 weeks. Only one losing week so far. I have certainly been running well, but I have worked very hard at it. Not having much to do everyday but look at lines and such. I also made a little bit off of Delaware Park now taking sports bets. I only bet there about half of the year (as some weeks their lines were okay) but half the weeks they had some bad lines and I did take advantage. I hit them for $1600 one week but besides that was down a little there - then again much more variance with having to play 3-teamers so you are looking for the big week. With the right outs, I know I can make 10-20k every football season by putting in a fair amount a work. I am very worried where the prop market is going from here on out though as a lot of my money is made off of props. I still remember the story you told me about your one bowl season long ago, you told me not to share details and I won't, but that has still stayed with me.I am doing well and am saving nearly all of the money I am winning as I know things can change quickly.

I have a hundred dollar ticket for Dallas to win the NFC at 19-1

A buddy has a hundred dollar ticket for MIN to win the NFC for 9.5 - 1

Should I partner with him- giving me $50 on my Dallas ticket in exchange for $50 of his Min action? My heart says no- I am throwing away $500 for peace of mind and my brain says getting a hedge at 3x current value is a value hedge I should go for.

You're doing it again. I can't imagine anyone cares.Even the post to which you're replying simply asked if you have a job.

Nah, if they were $500 tickets, maybe. Let it ride.
