Also Yellow. When you show up can you PM, TC because I wont be able too at this point since off to bed and dont want to be premature on telling him he is up.

I got a PM from Bass saying I was on deck, but didn't get another when I was up. With the speed we were moving, I didn't think much of it, but checked a few times throughout the day.Just a bad day ... sit around in a meeting all day checking the berry for my turn and then I still time out. No worries, let's move along.

not gonna get into a pissin match but it is not really a "rule" that you have to be pm'd......it was just asked as more of a courtesy.....nobody should be relying on a pm......it should be kind of a given that if you sign up for one of these things, you agree to be a little proactive and check in fairly often.....if you can't, either you pm a list to someone, or maybe it's just nothing something you should sign up to do.....there is no penalty for not pm'ing, but there is for not even checking in for over 8 hours when it is your turn.....You guys know the drill. Please PM picks if you won't be able to stop in for an extended period of time. Please PM "next" and "on deck" to those that pick after you. All efforts are appreciated to keep the draft moving smoothly along. I'll keep these links at the top of every thread so they will be easily accessible. If someone else starts a new thread, please just copy this one and change the round numbers. Simple.

Names are linked for quicker PM purposes. Lists are our friends.

Please PM next guy "You're up" and following guy "On deck." If you can't make a pick on time, PM a list to someone who can.

I agree completely. But there are some days where you cannot be around and today was one of those days ... I had an all day meeting. But what I have done in the past is leave a meeting with the only reason being to rush back to my office and make a pick. I also fail to understand how it is a "given" that you PM lists, but it isn't a "given" that you send a PM to let people know when they are up.I was checking my blackberry constantly throughout the day to bolt my meeting and make my pick. Unfortunately the "courtesy" was not given.

I've been in these for years and know the drill and I don't sign up unless I can be an active player. I didn't lose out, since I wasn't interested in TJ anyway.

check again.....never said it was a given that you PM lists....said "it should be kind of a given that if you sign up for one of these things, you agree to be a little proactive and check in fairly often".......if there are days when you "cannot be around" then pm.........if you had an "all day" meeting coming up....that is a perfect time for a pm list.......dont really care what you have done in the past....sorry if they did not pm you, but if you were checking your blackberry all day you could have also seen that you were up .....anyway.....thanks for venting on us.....

:thumbup: This is how the PM function works for making a pick. I knew I was going to be gone and sent a pick to the next guy. Draft keeps moving.Even if you don't want to sent a list, even if there's one guy you are sitting on you can send that pick and hope they last.
