I want to start preparing for WCOFF so I decided to start a mock draft. The first 11 to reply in this thread will get a spot. You guys can choose your draft position... I'll take the #6 spot. We'll start as soon as we fill.

We'll go with a time limit of 6 hours/pick and we'll suspend the clock from 11:00 pm - 8:00 am est. Do not sign up if you feel that you won't be able to make your picks.

You come to this forum to make your draft selection and then PM the person picking after you to let them know you are on the clock. You can always send me (or the person after you) a list of players to pick if you feel you will be away for an extended period of time.

Roster Requirements:

Maximum of 20 players

Lineups Requirements:

1 QB

2 RB

3 WR

1 TE

1 Flex player (a RB or WR, or TE)

1 PK

1 Team Defense/Special team

Scoring:

a. Passing:

Yards passing divided by 20 (e.g. 215 passing yards = 10.75 fantasy points).

4 points for every passing TD

Minus one point (-1) for every interception thrown

2 points for every 2-point conversion

b. Rushing:

Yards rushing divided by 10 (e.g. 89 rushing yards = 8.9 fantasy points).

6 points for every rushing TD

2 points for every 2-point conversion

c. Receiving:

Yards receiving divided by 10 (e.g. 112 receiving yards = 11.2 fantasy points)

6 points for every receiving TD

1 point for every catch

2 points for every 2-point conversion

d. All Other TDs:

6 points for any TD scored by recovered or returned fumbles, laterals, or any other means by which a skill position player (QB, RB, WR, TE, or K) is awarded an individual TD, except kickoff and punt returns. No rushing or receiving yardage is awarded for a TD returned on a fumble.

e. Placekicking:

1 point for every Extra Point

3 points for every FG of 1 – 30 yards plus .1 point for every yard thereafter

Example: a 43-yard FG would be worth 4.3 points

f. Team Scoring (Defense/Special Teams):

1 point for every sack

2 points for every team takeaway (interception or fumble recovery)**

6 points for every TD (via interception return, fumble return, punt or kickoff return, blocked FG return, missed FG return, blocked punt return)*

2 points for every safety

5 points for every shutout ***

2 points for allowing between 1- 5 points ***

1 point for allowing between 6 – 10 points ***

 
I'll do it, but out of town all weekend and prefer to not start until Tuesday at the earliest.

I'll take #7

 
SAD that a week later this is only half filled.

Send out PM's to the many veteran WCOFF guys on the boards (check threads last year for easy identification)

I would love to be a part of this if you need somebody, but please know that I will not be around Friday at all and the weekend would be sproradic......as of Monday I could be all in.......I would take the 12 hole if that would help...

 
I would take the first spot along with he 5th spot if it would help in getting this draft started?

Edit, in case I miss start of the draft to keep things moving forward since I am going second my choices are #1 AP from MIN and #2 would be CJ2K from Tenn.

All we really need is someone to take the 3 spot as mattsam is willing to take #1 and #7. Let's get going, need ONE more to take the 3 spot and I believe we can start.

I don't like the idea of having people draft more than one spot, but I'd like to get this moving so I will allow mattsam to take the 1st and 5th spots and I will take the 3rd and 6th spots.

Headbanger is officially on the clock.

tick, tick, tick. Feels like forever when waiting for a mock like this I guess.

If someone's time expires the starter of the thread makes a best player pick for them or do they get skipped?

For real? I will check back sometime tomorrow for my next pick as 12 hours will be missed today. I wish someone else would step up to mock that will be here to participate.

If we pick for the guy then it screws up the whole draft.. and its not easy finding a replacement... it was hard enough just filling the draft. Would someone else like to draft two teams?

I hate when people don't show up... it clearly states in bold letters "Do not sign up if you feel that you won't be able to make your picks."

I can use basic picks from FBG as an example to keep things moving along for pick #10 if need be. LMK if you want me to go. If so, mark 1.10 for QB BREES.

I was thinking something along these lines as well. It's going to be a pain to find another person to fill up the spot. I figure just go off FBG's or another ADP for the missing drafter.

I am on the same boat here. 12th person had one 6 hour timer expire and about 1 hour into the next one to get skipped. Unfortunatly I do not see this getting better.(Edited as of 10:38 2 hours into the second 6 hour window.)

I'm going to drop out of this, guys. I have a few things coming up to where I don't think I'll be able to keep up if and when this draft really gets going. I was going to try to stick it out and just PM lengthy draft lists since I signed up, but with the draft stalling I don't see the point of it. Sorry, fellas. I know we had a few good WCOFF mocks like this last year, but I assumed this draft would fill up about a week ago and we'd get through it quickly.
