Antonio Brown - Out of his Head - NEW ENGLAND PATRIOTS

Recommended Posts

Quote

Raiders coach Jon Gruden said Antonio Brown "took all the reps today in our walkthrough."

Gruden added that he anticipates his prized acquisition practicing soon. Brown was spotted running routes, cutting, and sprinting prior to Oakland's preseason game Thursday and should return to the field soon, but the (numerous) red flags surrounding his availability and performance remain transparent. He's an obvious fade in the early rounds of fantasy drafts despite his glowing resume.

I dont have a link but Mayock just released a statement saying they've supported Brown, they've exhausted all options, but now need to know if he's all in or all out.

Welcome to Pittsburgh, Oakland, Las Vegas?

Wherever... it's the Antonio Brown Show.

That needed to be said by Mayock, but knowing Brown and his nutjob personality, this could be the straw that makes him tap out on being a Raider.

....to do what?  He’d owe all that money back.

I don't think we can assume at this point that Brown is thinking like a rational human being.

Only 1 million apparently--to correct my own post earlier when I also thought it would be a lot.

He walks away from 30 million guaranteed tho.  I bet some of that is already spent...

Question: How long has Antonio Brown been like this? Assuming he didn't come into the league this way.

Weird how these personality issues just blooming seemingly out of nowhere. Were there signs way back when he was a rookie or second-year guy?

chronic traumatic encephalopathy - I think that last concussion he suffered really altered his personality. He hasn’t been normal since then.

The Raiders never learn.  This went south sooner than I thought though.  I thought Brown would last a few weeks and go off the rails around week four or five when the Raiders are winless and Brown is without a touchdown still.   I still don't understand how a team that is building for the future thought this was a good idea.  This is why some teams are good most seasons and others always struggle.  It's all about management.

Well, I guess those of us that thought he might not necessarily be suiting up without major headaches were sort of right on.

@DocMcCockiner

UPDATE: Brown showed up at #Raiders headquarters and stormed into HC Jon Gruden's office with what appeared to be a dildo in his hand. Brown was eventually escorted off the premises by 2 security officers. Awful.

IF AB has CTE, he is not responsible for his actions.  IF AB does not have CTE, he is responsible for his actions.

Either way, I would bet the farm he won't be playing a full season.

Something I just saw on Tom Pelissero's (https://twitter.com/TomPelissero/status/1163229228801888256?s=20) twitter said that a 2011 version was sent to an independent tester by the NFLPA and League and was rejected.

Starting to wonder if this frostbite thing really messed his wheels up and the helmet is just a sideshow/distraction.

he's out of football for good if he leaves the Raiders.he'll be blacklisted. it's 100% clear he does NOT want to play for Oaktown, and probably equally clear that he simply does not want to play football anymore.

how did the 'vaunted' Steelers organization allow both he and Bell to act up like this for all these years? who the hell is in control in the steelers front office? wow

He really needs to be committed to a mental institution, but I'm afraid he will break out and kidnap Dan Marino.  Seriously, screws are loose.

Agent Drew Rosenhaus: “I’m not sure that we agree that we’ve exhausted all the options as Mike Mayock said...”

So, Raiders aren't gonna owe this guy a penny of his guaranteed cash, are they?

Holy cow some of the people laughing at this situation and trading for him forgot that he was nearly charged with assaulting two women during this behavioral span of things going back to last year, IIRC. Not One. But two.

WTF happened to this guy? Was an absolute stud, never heard a peep outta him really.....till last season. He was a notoriously hard worker who simply dominated on the field.

He has really lost his mind. I am just stunned. Was a stalwart of my dynasty team. Now I cannot get a bag of chips for him.....maybe a bag of Coco Puffs, but not chips.

Lunatic.

Love when you get laughed at for bringing up completely concrete character reservations and are pooh-poohed and told its just that one is a dupe for the media.

Or the guy's really ####### crazy. (I have sympathy for people who are mentally ill, by the way, that's just my way of proving a colloquial point.)

Nope.  He was just known as a hard working overachieving wideout.  The problems seemed to start about 3 years ago and  the Steelers tried their best for 2 years to control him but you see what kind of a person AB is now.   I don't think anyone can control him...
