DefinitelyBut I bet he is an excellent driver.
There's a monitor to the side so the players can see how much money people have and read the catergories and see videos better. I expect that's what he's looking at.So what is James doing when Alex is introducing the categories for each round? It looks like he's looking down and checking his phone or something below and to the right of the podium?
"Ken es el Hombre" happened.Can i get a summary? What happened tonight?
Ken had a big lead going into FJ in the first game -- like $26k to $13k. All three guys bet all-in and all-three hit. So Jennings went into the 2nd game with a monster lead and was never challenged.Can i get a summary? What happened tonight?
Brad is dragging this thing down.Can i get a summary? What happened tonight?
Ha. I think I bragged to my wife for 5 minutes that I got the one clue James missed.Go Noles
How does James the sports bettor not know the colors of FSU? He had a chance to go up $10k to 0 to 0 and just cruise that game. Very un-James like to miss that oneGo Noles
Check out the not so big brain on Brad.Brad is dragging this thing down.
Some of the best sports bettors I know know very little about sports.How does James the sports bettor not know the colors of FSU? He had a chance to go up $10k to 0 to 0 and just cruise that game. Very un-James like to miss that one
My wife was screaming OH COME ON when he was thinkingHa. I think I bragged to my wife for 5 minutes that I got the one clue James missed.
Maybe Brad's weight loss included his brain matter.Check out the not so big brain on Brad.Brad is dragging this thing down.
I think James has proven that he doesn't fall into that category.Some of the best sports bettors I know know very little about sports.
From what Ive seen, Brad isnt getting questions wrong, he just cant compete with Ken and James? Admittedly, I have not seen the whole 3 hours.Maybe Brad's weight loss included his brain matter.
He’s been crushed on the daily doubles and yea he can’t beat those two on the button.From what Ive seen, Brad isnt getting questions wrong, he just cant compete with Ken and James? Admittedly, I have not seen the whole 3 hours.
Not really. He used the DDs to put games out of reach, but his biggest strength during his run was that he rarely rang in with a wrong answer.I can't stop thinking James just lived and died on daily doubles. A) Brad seems to find them all early (and miss the question on them) and that limits James' ability to vault his score and B) Brad and Ken bet true daily doubles where James' prior opponents weren't confident enough to do. Ken has truly distanced himself from the other 2 in this tourney.
I got the tough Oscar Final right, but my joy was tampered by the fact that 2 of them didn't even try.Ramblin Wreck said:Ha. I think I bragged to my wife for 5 minutes that I got the one clue James missed.
I once got 3 right that the contestants all whiffed on. But those people were all dumber than Brad.I got the tough Oscar Final right, but my joy was tampered by the fact that 2 of them didn't even try.
How the heck did he beat Ken (once or twice?) in tournaments?Jayrok said:One thing this tournament confirms is that Brad is not the greatest Jeopardy champion of all time.
I don't remember the exact wording, but it was something along the lines of "this gemstone is used as an abrasive, and the color is one of the official ones for Florida State". He guessed "diamond", correct answer was "garnet"Anyone remember the actual question James missed on the DD? Thought the category was gemstones. He answered diamond which was wrong. I can't remember the question.
idk. My guess is that Ken played his normal style, as did Brad, and they weren't as amped up as they are playing with James. Ken may have not bet a lot on DDs or something, thus keeping Brad in the game. With James and his style, they have no choice but to go for big wagers. Ken has risen to the challenge while Brad is floundering.How the heck did he beat Ken (once or twice?) in tournaments?
Thanks. I think I misunderstood the question to be about FSU as well. I know their colors but wasn't thinking that in terms of a gemstone. I think with diamond, James was thrown off by the "abrasive" part. Not sure. Bet he kicked himself afterward.I don't remember the exact wording, but it was something along the lines of "this gemstone is used as an abrasive, and the color is one of the official ones for Florida State". I'm guessing James didn't recognize it as Florida State University, and thought it meant "the state of florida"....but even still, in what world is diamond a color?

You just need to add an "i" to James for Jameis. He seems a two-outcome (TD or INT) type.I've thought neither long nor hard on this, but these would be my current NFL QB analogies:
James = Lamar Jackson
Ken = Drew Brees
Brad = Eli Manning
I had no idea who these people were, even after the answer was revealed.I got the tough Oscar Final right, but my joy was tampered by the fact that 2 of them didn't even try.
