RB - All most impossible to grade. You drafted almost every controversial player. You'll look like a genius at the end of the year or be an after thought in the first quarter of the season. As a side note, I was "mocked" for drafting Woodhead late in one of these drafts last year and he often went un-drafted. Not sure what changed other than the guys in front of him getting better. Grade C to B+

re: Woodheadlast year I took him in MBSL2 as RB68 in the 18th round....(my last pick in that draft)...he finished as RB24 in this format....he scored for me in over 2/3 of the weeks....and 5 of the 7 weeks down the stretchthese were my running backs in MBSL2....believe it or not....I won6.08 McGahee, Willis DEN (8 starts) drafted RB26/88 finished RB28/1467.09 Jennings, Rashad JAC (5 starts) drafted RB35/105 finished RB57/2829.09 Royster, Evan WAS (2 starts) drafted RB44/137 finished RB 73/34015.09 Powell, Bilal NYJ (7 starts) drafted RB65/233 finished RB 43/236 18.08 Woodhead, Danny NEP (12 starts) drafted RB 68/280 finished RB24/131

QB - Luck seems like a value at QB11. Tannyhill will contribute. Even though you drafted these guys later than the median picks, Luck will perform more like a QB6 to QB10 in this format. Grade - C+RB - Average to just above average RB1 and RB2. Very solid backups IMO. Grade B-WR - You knocked it out of the park here. Given the bb format, Decker and Jones will perform more like low WR1s. Your depth is great with the numbers and probably overkill that could have been used elsewhere. Grade - ATE - Gresham about average with Allen as a good backup. Grade - C+D/K - Did what you needed to do. I like the Ds. Grade - B (assuming Graham stays on in Houston)Your team will go far and has the components need to be a title contender. Great draft.

QB - Brady and possibly no back-up. If you can dodge the bye week, you are set. Grade - BRB - Not sure what you were thinking. Sporles is a great BB back assuming you have other guys who will be posting scores. You don't have those guys. It's entirely possible you only post one decent RB score a week. I doubt there's another stable of RBs this bad. This group likely will be your downfall. Grade - FWR - I like Jones better than you're first two WRs in this format. Regardless, you have quality and depth. Those last two picks should have been RBs. Grade - BK/D - Knocked it out of the park assuming Graham is HOU and not CIN (I may have missed some news). Grade - A-TE - Awesome. Like how you paired an upside guy with Graham. Grade - A+You have the pieces for a strong team except for RB. Problem is that RB will eventually come back and bite you. Hopefully you nab a bunch of immunites. I would predict your team has the biggest weekly standard deviation this year. I don't think you will survive the bye weeks.

QB - Well done. Above average QB 1 and very above average QB2. Grade - A-

RB - Foster and a prayer. Grade - B

WR - Sorry but I'm just not feeling it like you are. I see this as a pretty average group at best unless Wallace catches on somewhere good. Backups are meh... too. Grade - C

TE - Pitta feels like a slight reach, Celek a big steal. Dickinson was a nice move. Between the depth and talent you're above average. Grade - B

D/K - I'm going to assume Crosby keeps a kickikng job. Grade - B-

I'm not real excited about this team beyond the QB position. That said, you're at or above average everywhere else. I suspect you'll survive the bye weeks but fall by the wayside late to the elite teams.

4.4 Joe Flacco QB10

6.4 Andy Dalton QB19

When I first look at this roster, it is a perfect example of that dance and decision some owners have to make when they pass on QB early and decide to go the QBBC approach. Picking Flacco in the 4th could have maybe even allowed you to wait a little and just hope to ride him and then add a lower end QB2 later. Part of me wants to say “good call snagging Dalton at beginning of round 6, cause pickins would have been slim by 7.13”, but part of me also wants to say I think another position (in this case RB) suffered. I wonder if you pass on Dalton and snag a RB in round 6 what it may have looked like. Hmmm…some decent RB’s were available, and you maybe could have still got a serviceable QB to pair with Flacco. This is a mid-level duo but consistent production here. Some big weeks could be sprinkled in. Two entrenched starters with no question marks. Flacco would think this is the best QB combo in the league.

5.13 BenJarvus Green-Ellis RB24

7.13 Rashard Mendenhall RB32

10.4 Bilal Powell RB46

15.13 Felix Jones RB61

18.4 Andre Ellington RB69

20.04 Roy Helu RB75

Not a big fan here as you probably expected most would say. However, I have seen groups like this work out every once in a while. You are definitely rolling the dice with this group and threw some stuff out there hoping it sticks. Powell was productive down the stretch last year. Until we see how things shake out with almost all of these guys, it’s hard to say this is strength or even a solid group. Right now, it’s not good. Tons of question marks here. The price you pay at this point when not taking one for almost 6 rounds. David Wilson in the 6th and then maybe Locker-Ponder-Vick later?

1.13 A. J. Green WR3

2.4 Andre Johnson WR6

3.13 Marques Colston WR18

9.13 Chris Givens WR53

17.13 T. J. Graham WR84

19.13 Lavon Brazil WR97

About as solid as it can get with the top 3 as it should be for the investment you made. These three will have to carry this team. Concerned a little about depth as I’m not sure how the roles will shake out for the last 3. You are much higher and I guess more sold on Givens then I am and I see quite a few guys at WR who were still available at that point that I might have taken instead to give this group a little more insurance and coverage for those down/bye weeks from your big 3. Not sure I’m a big fan of going DST back to back in the 11th and 12th and think you could have added WR5 with one of those picks or at least a RB.

8.4 Brandon Myers TE11

13.13 Robert Housler TE30

We probably saw Myers ceiling last year and you might need a repeat performance to survive each week. Something about it screamed “career year” to me. Kind of like a Brady Anderson type of career year. At 2PPR I am a big believer in getting some solid production at TE and I think you could struggle. TE is a position you gain/cover some ground in these. They can score like QB’s. I have Myers and Miller listed as TE’s that I think some people will be chasing last year’s stats on. I thought any of the 4 other TE’s taken after this pick in the 8th would have been better options, but that is just IMO.

11.13 Denver DST #4

12.4 Houston DST #7

14.4 Matt Bryant PK #3

16.4 Alex Henery PK #19

Might be the best 4 some in any of the 3 WSL’s. But I would have maybe gambled a little here and tried to pick something up in the last four rounds at one or both of these positions and added depth elsewhere instead of being done with this group by round 16.

Overall: Solid production from QB, top 3 WR’s and DST/PK. Major questions at RB, WR depth, and TE. I think you will be dancing the elimination line quite a bit, especially on bye weeks for your top 3 WR’s and/ or any injury there. Hopefully Flacco/Dalton don’t share a bye. I’m not a big fan of what you got between picks 7-20. Don’t get me wrong, I like your DST and PK, but I include them as I think a couple of those could have helped elsewhere at the time you took them.

2.01 FUBAR - Drew Brees - QB2 - NO

7.16 FUBAR - Christian Ponder - QB25 – MIN

In WSL2 I struggled with deciding between Rodgers and Brees as I was the first to take a QB. I took Rodgers and I think it may have been a mistake. Got a feeling Brees opens up a can on the league next year. He plays in dome, against other division opponents who score, play in nice weather and don’t have the best defenses. I could see a case for Brees being drafted QB1 in fantasy even though Rodgers may be a better NFL QB. I like this grouping. You could have rolled the dice on Alex Smith later (that would have been about your only option), but in hindsight, it might be good that you went with Ponder, cause Smith might not go anywhere.

1.16 FUBAR - Matt Forte - RB11 - CHI

5.16 FUBAR - David Wilson - RB26 - NYG

8.01 FUBAR - Mark Ingram - RB34 - NO

14.01 FUBAR - Danny Woodhead - RB61 - NE

18.01 FUBAR - Mike Gillislee - RB67 – ROOK

I’m not a huge Forte guy, but if he stays healthy he might be worth this pick and I can see why you might have taken him over the other RB’s available. Bradshaw’s exit makes the Wilson pick look like pretty good value. I like the way Ingram ran a little harder last year and Woodhead if he stays in NE could be a steal again this year in this format as RB67. He was RB 24 last year. No idea about your rook, but I like this group anyway.

3.16 FUBAR - Larry Fitzgerald - WR18 - AZ

4.01 FUBAR - Hakeem Nicks - WR19 - NYG

9.16 FUBAR - Greg Little - WR54 - CLE

10.01 FUBAR - Alshon Jeffery - WR55 - CHI

13.16 FUBAR - Jonathan Baldwin - WR71 - KC

17.16 FUBAR - Jacoby Jones - WR85 - BAL

20.01 FUBAR - A.J. Jenkins - WR95 – SF

Big fan of this group. I like almost every one of the picks and where you got them. I really eye balled Jeffrey in WSL2 and think he could have one of those years where he establishes himself. Like the Jones and Jenkins pick late. To me this is how you assemble a WR group. Studs at the top and solid depth after that with potential for some pop.

6.01 FUBAR - Vernon Davis - TE5 - SF

11.16 FUBAR - Jordan Cameron - TE27 - CLE

Davis will be a matchup nightmare in that offense next year. I know most people will get hung up on that stretch at the end where he had little to no production, but I think that will be the exception and not the norm. I think he represented a solid pick at the 5/6 turn. TE value fell in these. Cameron is getting some love/hype but I am kind of in wait and see mode on him.

12.01 FUBAR - San Francisco - DEF/ST1

15.16 FUBAR - Tampa Bay Buccaneers - DEF/ST26

16.01 FUBAR - Shayne Graham - PK12 - HOU

19.16 FUBAR - Nick Folk - PK31 – NYJ

Solid DST but not sure about your PK’s.

Overall: I think this team is built to survive and one of the better looking ones I have seen. Ingram, Nicks, and Little may have a bunch to say about how long you last. Nice work.

1.6 Aaron Rodgers QB1

Alrighty then…..I thought Bass went big in his draft but you pissed all over that…

2.11 Darren McFadden RB13

3.6 Darren Sproles RB16

12.11 Marcel Reece RB54

13.6 Pierre Thomas RB56

15.6 Daniel Thomas RB60

Somebody had to take him eventually, right? This group looks pretty solid. Sproles is pretty consistent in this format. I have gone tired of chasing DMC possibilities and prefer him to be a risk somebody else takes. He is the type of player that if the risk pays off, it pays off in a big way; it’s not like trying to squeeze a few points out of a guy. I thought you backed up your risk here pretty well as all of these guys should see some sort of playing time, and you could put up some monster scores here if DMC stays healthy. Maybe not significant snaps for them all, but weekly snaps nonetheless. There is potential for each of them to have some decent weeks. I think you get a couple of scores here without much problem. Bye weeks are obviously an issue. Considering at the time, your first four were on the same two teams, D. Thomas in the 15th was a nice addition to this group with Bush leaving. Lots of risk here outside of Sproles, but it might work.

5.6 Mike Wallace WR29

7.6 Kendall Wright WR40

8.11 Sidney Rice WR48

9.6 Malcom Floyd WR50

10.11 Michael Floyd WR57

11.6 Santonio Holmes WR60

14.11 Nate Burleson WR76

Holmes could be a steal if he comes back full strength. I know he plays for the Jets and it looks like a train wreck there right now, but that could be a sneaky pick when all is said and done. I thought you maximized your picks here. I like most of them including Floyd in the 10th. Wallace performing and Rice staying healthy will help. I love the Burleson pick with what is going on in DET. I look at this group as a whole and you have a decent mix of what are probably going to be solid #1’s or #2’s on their respective teams. For not taking a WR until the 5th, I thought you put together a nice group that should give you a good shot a 3 scores each week.

6.11 Vernon Davis TE7

17.6 Anthony Fasano TE33

19.6 Zack Ertz TE37

I think Davis offers solid value where you got him and this group could work especially if Ertz is as advertised and walks into significant time. Is Fasano a FA? Thought I heard some stuff about him leaving and if so MIA might look at Finley if he doesn’t re-up in GB. I am of the opinion that Davis will be more of what we saw in the postseason as opposed to that stretch where he wasn’t producing.

16.11 Washington DST #22

18.11 New Orleans DST #28

20.11 Dave Buehler K #29

Buehler has been signed by the NYG, but he was out of football all last year with hip surgery, etc. Big roll of the dice here, one PK to begin with and then an injured one at that. Looks like he may be given a shot in a nice offense, but he has been a little inconsistent when he does play and if Tynes comes back, you may make as many FG’s as your kickers next year.

Overall: When looking at this team, it is important to remember the two names that sit up at the top. They can cover up a few holes. I would hate to see this team produce well above the elimination line most weeks and the struggle one week and miss the cut by a few points that a PK might have covered. This team smells like a contender in that you have some high octane, some high risk that has high reward, but also some stability. QB is big strength, health at RB could make that strength, WR looks solid, and I believe you have a stud TE and two defenses. While it’s easy to say I hope my QB’s can cover my PK points, etc., to win this thing it will kind of suck to have to worry about that each week. Not sure where I would have liked to see you pull the trigger on PK cause I like most of the guys you took where you took them. Nice work, think you won’t have much trouble not being last most weeks.

I like this draft as well. The only change I would have made is instead of taking Anthony Fasano in the 17th I would have taken Dan Carpenter, who was taken a few picks after Fasano. I don't think Fasano will contribute much to this team where Carpenter would probably provide a lot of weekly scores for the team.

1.6 Aaron Rodgers QB1

4.11 Tony Romo QB12

3.01 Cam Newton, QB6

5.01 Eli Manning, QB13

Solid duo here. Manning seems like value there as a guy that could roll as a QB1 for most. Having him as a second option is gravy.

1.01 Adrian Peterson, RB1

2.16 Darren McFadden, RB15

11.01 Joique Bell, RB49

12.16 Marcel Reece, RB59

Wow….McFadden is either gonna help some owners lap the filed each week and win titles or drag them down. What’s nice is you have one of those 1.5 type RB’s at the top so it helps mitigate the risk. The Reece pick also helps, but I wonder if DMC gets hurt if Reece will take over like he has in the past. I like Bell in this format sans a Bush signing. First gut reaction is that maybe you could have used another body here, but with ADP on board it takes a little of that away as well. You got some serious pop at the top when healthy. I think lack of depth leaves you a little vulnerable here.

4.16 Stevie Johnson, WR27

6.16 Danario Alexander, WR37

8.16 Golden Tate, WR48

10.16 Michael Floyd, WR57

14.16 Rod Streater, WR74

18.16 Julian Edelman, WR85

19.01 Jeremy Kerley, WR86

20.16 DeAndre Hopkins, WR104

Strength in numbers. I’m a Danario fan and wouldn’t mind having him on some of my teams this year. I think he is a nice option in this best ball format. He is tough in one on one situations and with V. Brown coming back, Floyd, Meachem, Gates, Ronnie Brown out of the backfield, SD might be able to get Danario in more one on one situations. I know very little about Hopkins but think you might have been deep enough already to allow that pick to be a RB flyer. Tate seemed to show that he has potential to take the next step; more will be expected of Floyd in AZ this year. Streater could easily take over a WR spot whether or not DHB leaves. I like the Kerley pick in the 19th round as I think he sees significant snaps even with Holmes and Hill returning. Edelman can have those nice weeks.

7.01 Brandon Pettigrew, TE9

9.01 Martellus Bennett, TE17

Love Pettigrew in 2 PPR format and Bennett IMO is a solid TE2. You shouldn’t lose much ground here each week.

16.16 Adam Vinatieri, K19

17.01 Kai Forbath, K20

13.01 Cincinnati Bengals, DST7

15.01 Carolina Panthers, DST23

Solid 4 pack here.

Overall: When I saw the investment you made at QB and RB early, I was expecting to be disappointed with some of the positions after that, but I wasn’t. I think you had pound for pound one of the better drafts I’ve seen and this team is built in survival mode. If my only real issue, and it’s not even a major one, is what you should have done with your last pick which was the last pick of the draft, there’s not much to talk about. You are a little vulnerable at RB (bye weeks to top two and any injury there) and there will be a few weeks where other positions may have to carry that group. Nice job.

Will be interesting to see what he says about my team where I went WR-WR with the first two. :D

My team definitely hinges on my rookie RBs. I did something completely different that I've never done before and actually targeted rookies. Depends on where they each land and how much they are used of course. But I have faith that at least two will turn out well and produce. I had drafted Turner before his release, but I probably should have seen it coming. At that point, having gone WR-heavy, I had to make some reaches at RB.

:2cents: 2.01 FUBAR - Drew Brees - QB2 - NO7.16 FUBAR - Christian Ponder - QB25 – MINIn WSL2 I struggled with deciding between Rodgers and Brees as I was the first to take a QB. I took Rodgers and I think it may have been a mistake. Got a feeling Brees opens up a can on the league next year. He plays in dome, against other division opponents who score, play in nice weather and don't have the best defenses. I could see a case for Brees being drafted QB1 in fantasy even though Rodgers may be a better NFL QB. I like this grouping. You could have rolled the dice on Alex Smith later (that would have been about your only option), but in hindsight, it might be good that you went with Ponder, cause Smith might not go anywhere.1.16 FUBAR - Matt Forte - RB11 - CHI5.16 FUBAR - David Wilson - RB26 - NYG 8.01 FUBAR - Mark Ingram - RB34 - NO14.01 FUBAR - Danny Woodhead - RB61 - NE18.01 FUBAR - Mike Gillislee - RB67 – ROOKI'm not a huge Forte guy, but if he stays healthy he might be worth this pick and I can see why you might have taken him over the other RB's available. Bradshaw's exit makes the Wilson pick look like pretty good value. I like the way Ingram ran a little harder last year and Woodhead if he stays in NE could be a steal again this year in this format as RB67. He was RB 24 last year. No idea about your rook, but I like this group anyway.3.16 FUBAR - Larry Fitzgerald - WR18 - AZ4.01 FUBAR - Hakeem Nicks - WR19 - NYG9.16 FUBAR - Greg Little - WR54 - CLE10.01 FUBAR - Alshon Jeffery - WR55 - CHI13.16 FUBAR - Jonathan Baldwin - WR71 - KC17.16 FUBAR - Jacoby Jones - WR85 - BAL20.01 FUBAR - A.J. I really eye balled Jeffrey in WSL2 and think he could have one of those years where he establishes himself. Like the Jones and Jenkins pick late. To me this is how you assemble a WR group. Studs at the top and solid depth after that with potential for some pop.6.01 FUBAR - Vernon Davis - TE5 - SF11.16 FUBAR - Jordan Cameron - TE27 - CLE Davis will be a matchup nightmare in that offense next year. I know most people will get hung up on that stretch at the end where he had little to no production, but I think that will be the exception and not the norm. I think he represented a solid pick at the 5/6 turn. TE value fell in these. some circumstances have changed, schedule, busy, been out of touch or awhile, etc....hope to crank through some of these still....

liked SJax landing spot and Gonzo coming back....Welker signing has got to take away from Decker so that sucks...can't decide if the DHB to NYJ rumors would be good or bad for my team since I have Sanchez....seems like not good for DHB but good for Sanchez.....

I'm not completely sold on the prevailing theory that Decker's numbers will suffer as much as some think. He will still be a redzone target and line up across from DT. Welker will hurt Stokley and the TEs more than Decker imo.

Not a big fan of not finishing what I started.....here we go

Norseman

2.09 Tom Brady QB3
8.09 Michael Vick QB25

I have no idea how Vick’s fantasy stats will be affected by the offensive changes in PHI, but he seems like a perfect late backup when taking a stud early in these things. The quicker pace will lead to more offensive plays which should also lead to more scoring. We’ll see.

1.08 Trent Richardson RB6
6.09 Vick Ballard RB28
10.09 Daryl Richardson RB49
18.09 Donald Brown RB70
20.09 Chris Ivory RB76

Some question marks after the stud. Loaded with some time share guys. I love Ivory’s game but he is still 4th in the pecking order. Trade or release for him could help. Not a big fan of this group but probably cause I’m not sold on Ballard.

3.08 Larry Fitzgerald WR15
4.09 Pierre Garçon WR21
5.08 Antonio Brown WR30
7.08 Danny Amendola WR42
13.08 Donnie Avery WR71
19.08 Devery Henderson WR93

Amendola seems like tremendous value now obviosly, but was probably still a great pick at that spot before signing in NE. Avery seems solid too. As a whole, I like this group especially if Garcon is healthy. He could make or break you here. Is Henderson staying in NO?

9.08 Tony Gonzalez TE16
12.09 Zach Miller TE27

15.08 Joel Dreessen TE32

Gamble paid off. I like this group if Miller’s late season surge carries over. One of the things we will all be trying to figure out is how the Welker signing affects the DEN TE’s.

11.08 Chicago DST3
17.08 Carolina DST24
14.09 Garrett Hartley K4
16.09 Rob Bironas K22

Solid 4-some.

Overall: If this team can get some RB2 production and Garcon is healthy, I can see this team not finishing last most weeks. The QB position alone should give you an advantage right off the top.

3.01 Cam Newton, QB6
5.01 Eli Manning, QB13

Some serious firepower here.

1.01 Adrian Peterson, RB1
2.16 Darren McFadden, RB15
11.01 Joique Bell, RB49
12.16 Marcel Reece, RB59

I may in the minority but I just can’t see Peterson having another year like last year. Most want to count him as an RB and a half. We’ll see. Bell pick seemed solid before Bush signing. There will always be an owner who kind of banks their success or failure on DMC, guess it’s your turn. I like following him up with Reece. Even if Reece isn’t the RB2 come opening day, he should still be involved. Little vulnerable with only 4. 20th round could have been a flyer here for another body/insurance, especially since the R. Bush thing seemed like it would happen.

4.16 Stevie Johnson, WR27
6.16 Danario Alexander, WR37
8.16 Golden Tate, WR48
10.16 Michael Floyd, WR57
14.16 Rod Streater, WR74
18.16 Julian Edelman, WR85
19.01 Jeremy Kerley, WR86
20.16 DeAndre Hopkins, WR104

Basically the 5th round till you took a WR. With Cam on board, the Manning pick could have been a WR here. I like Alexander where you got him and I am a fan. Times where he can be shut down but he can also score points on minimal receptions with long TD’s. The rest could ham n egg you a score here and there. Overall not a bad group, but I still think a RB flyer with one of those last 3 picks would have been the way to go. You didn’t need to still try and compensate for not taking a WR until the 5th by taking 8 and using all three of your last picks here.

7.01 Brandon Pettigrew, TE9
9.01 Martellus Bennett, TE17

I think this combo will keep you in the mix as I am a Pettigrew fan in this format.

16.16 Adam Vinatieri, K19
17.01 Kai Forbath, K20
13.01 Cincinnati Bengals, DST7
15.01 Carolina Panthers, DST23

Overall: I looked back at your roster I am not sure there is enough consistency on this team and I think there will be many weeks when you are hanging around the cut line. All of your WR’s could disappear at times. So that’s where hanging your hat on DMC comes into play. DMC! DMC! DMC!

WSL 3 - My first time... be gentle!

sorry...can't...

kardplayer

1.12 Drew Brees QB1

15.12 Blaine Gabbert QB33

Brees is worthy of a first round pick in these and IMO playing in a dome and in the division they play in could make him a better pick then Rodgers. Always a tough decision when to back these guys up. If Gabbert plays you could be ok.

4.05 Ryan Matthews RB19

5.12 Shonn Green RB23

8.05 Knowshown Moreno RB35

10.05 Andre Brown RB47

12.05 Danny Woodhead RB52

Brown in the 10th seems like an ok pick. The Woodhead signing by SD is something I am interested in. Brown was pretty productive out of the backfield last year/receptions. Not sure how that works out. Not a huge fan of the Green and Moreno picks and Matthews as the lead dog is a tough way to start, but what happens when you wait. You’ll be behind the field here week to week.

2.05 Dez Bryant WR7

3.12 Michael Crabtree WR17

7.12 Andre Roberts WR45

9.12 Josh Morgan WR52

16.05 Jordan Shipley WR79

19.12 Damian Williams WR96

Dez is solid and Crabtree should outproduce WR17 shouldn’t he? I’m not a fan of his and he won’t be on many of my teams but I can see him in there somewhere. Roberts seemed like a reach in the 7th and not a fan of your depth here in 3 WR start. Might be scrambling for scores here on occasion especially if Dez/Crab don’t bring it every week.

6.05 Greg Olsen TE6

11.12 Lance Kendricks TE26

20.05 Luke Stocker TE38

I guess Olsen should be top 10ish maybe, but rest is meh.

13.12 Stephen Gostkowski PK2

17.12 Dan Carpenter PK26

14.05 Baltimore Ravens DEF16

18.05 Tennessee Titans DEF27

Pretty good 4some here although I don’t trust Carpenter for some reason, probably the mullet.

Overall: Quite honestly I am not a big fan of this team. After Brees and maybe Dez, I see a bunch of question marks and reaches. Not trying to be a jerk but hard to find much to like. This is survivior and you may be someone who worries about not finishing last most weeks.

Ok here I am. My first wsl.

I can tell.....just kidding

Jeaton

4.10 RG3

10.10 Alex Smith

18.10 Blaine Gabbert

I am a believer that RGIII will be ready so I think you are good here, but Gabbert might have been a costly insurance pick and a waste. Could have been a DST with that pick.

1.07 LeSean McCoy

3.07 Darren Sproles

6.10 Willis McGahee

19.07 Daniel Thomas

20.10 Le'Veon Bell

I kinda like this group, especially if DEN doesn’t bring somebody else in. I know Thomas has been getting some negative pub lately but in the 19th it seems like a good pick. He ain’t gonna get cut. Don’t know a ton about Bell, but McCoy and Sproles should be pretty solid in this format. Pretty nice work here, but McGahee may make or break this group.

2.10 Damarious Thomas

5.07 Danario Alexander

8.10 Brandon Lloyd

9.07 Santonio Holmes

11.07 Brandon Lafell

12.10 Cordarelle Patterson

I like top 2 even though DA has some injury history. I am a little higher on him then most and think that he can be worth the gamble over some guys that are normally taken in front of him. You know you think that probably a year or so ago having Lloyd and Holmes as your 3/4 would be something to be pretty excited about, we’ll see. Hope those weren’t just name recognition picks. You could have some trouble posting consistent scores here as even Alexander can disappear. IIRC this draft may have taken place before the Welker signing, so if so, that was a tough blow for DT and your WR crew.

7.07 Antonio Gates

13.07 Zach Miller

14.10 Zac Ertz

Miller showed some life at the end of last year and Ertz could post some numbers depending on his team. Gates isn’t the stud of old, but he can carry this position for you some weeks. Hopefully he comes back in shape and can still get some separation that is my only worry.

16.10 Jason Hanson

17.07 Nick Novak

15.07 Atlanta

This group took a huge hit with Hanson retirement, you kind of get a hall pass on that one, but he was a guy I avoided even last year in these things just because we knew it was coming to an end soon. Ertz or Gabbert pick should have been a DST.

Overall: Hard to give an assessment with RGIII/Lloyd/McGahee status. Not sure this team has enough firepower to overcome their situations not turning out well for you, especially considering your PK/DST situation.

Sinrman

QB: T Romo, C Ponder

This works, could be better, could be worse. I think MIN leans less on the run.

RB: R Bush, E Lacy, M Turner, B Brown, M Ball, L Bell

Hard to say with the rooks and I’m not sure Turner is significant wherever he ends up. But Bush should be solid to super solid and Lacy could be a homerun. I’m a Brown fan but he may not see enough touches.

WR: B Marshall, D Thomas, L Moore, A Roberts, B Gibson, D McCluster

Dig your top 3, can’t tell where you took Roberts but it looks like it may have been a little early. Also like the McCluster pick late. You should be fine here with those top two and the rest ham and eggin it.

TE: A Gates, M Lewis

I guess Lewis must just not be that good or at least as good as he was the year he caught 10tds’. It just seems like he should have always been more involved in the offensive game plan. I’m cool with combo, kind of like your QB, could be better, could be worse.

K: G Hartley, S JanikowskiDST: RAVENS, JETS

Super solid 4some.

Overall: Pretty decent team here. Will need Romo to carry you a little and there are some questions at RB. While not sure it is built to win it all, I could see it staying above the cut line most weeks. Might be a few close calls. Probably should have took a late flyer on Plaxico since obviously he is the key to a championship.

Sucks to back up a “top 5” type guy so early.1.05 Marshawn Lynch RB52.12 Chris Johnson RB149.05 Chris Wells RB4211.05 Joique Bell RB51Couple studs but little depth. Hopefully lack of depth doesn’t turn what should be a position of strength into a weakness. You invested a lot but left yourself vulnerable to this position actually costing you if you get a bad week/bye week/dud from one of the studs. Not a Beanie fan, and Bell should be in for a reduced role.3.05 Jordy Nelson WR146.12 Danario Alexander WR377.05 Lance Moore WR3910.12 Mohammad Sanu WR5813.05 Julian Edelman WR7016.12 Titus Young WR8119.05 Marquise Goodwin WR91I like your top 3 even though it doesn’t wow you when you first look at it. If After that it gets tough but maybe between Sanu, Edelman, and the rook you can get something more than a bagel when needed. This doesn’t seem like the strength of this team and could cause you to hang out by the cut line more then in the upper tier most weeks. DA better be the deal this year, but I thought he represents good value where you got him. 8.12 Antonio Gates TE1412.12 Tyler Eifert TE2818.12 Dallas Clark TE36Not knowing what is happening with Eifert or Clark makes it tough assess TE. Got a feeling you will be ok and I think Gates has a chance to finish in top 10.14.12 Dallas DST1917.05 Philadelphia DST2315.05 Lawrence Tynes PK1020.12 Caleb Sturgis PK32

Like your DST combo and think PHI has a chance to outplay DST23. Kicker looks shaky now but I expect Tynes to be kicking opening day.

Overall: I think you have a pretty solid core that can keep you above the cut line most weeks when that core is fully assembled. I do feel you left yourself open to some risk at RB even though you have two “studs”. Some of your WR picks 4-7 seem a little reachy and the Young pick seems pretty valuable right now in that it really could have helped elsewhere.

2.09 T.Brady NE18.09 D.Dixon PHIL

You had to be pretty stoked to see a top QB fall back to 2.09. I’m sure there is a method behind your madness of the Dixon pick and maybe you are more in touch with what Kelly will be doing on offense then the rest of us. Strictly depth chart speak, but it would seem he would be behind Vick and Foles at this point even though his game may be a good fit. 3.08 D.Sproles NO8.09 G.Bernard ROOK15.08 P.Hillis FA17.08 C.Benson FA

Only one has a home so hard to assess, but maybe that is an assessment. This could be trouble.4.09 R.Wayne IND5.08 J.Blackmon JAX6.09 J.Jones GB7.08 M.Williams TB9.09 S.Holmes NYJ11.08 K.Allen FA19.08 S.Moss WASH20.09 AJ.Jenkins SF

5 of your first 9 and 6 of first 11 dedicated to this position so it should be pretty strong. You should be ok here as you have a ton of bodies and your first 3 are pretty solid. I’m curious to see if Williams repeats his numbers and if Holmes comes back with the type of game that made him tough before. The type of injury and lingering affects is worrisome. You should get 3 decent scores here but they will be at the expense of your RB’s. Better go big.1.08 J.Graham NO10.09 F.Davis WASH

Banking on Davis coming back strong but with stud in tow okay to gamble here.13.08 S.Grokowski NE16.09 S.Graham CIN12.09 NewEngland14.09 Tennessee

I thought Nugent was with CIN. Graham will find a job right?

Overall: Think you went a little overboard at WR at the expense of RB/backup QB. I feel you left yourself exposed to bad weeks by Brady and Graham as you may get caught too far behind the field at RB. Sproles will have to maintain an elite weekly PPR RB pace to help keep you above the cut line some weeks, unless Bernard is the real deal. I realize Sproles is tough in this format, but if NOS really does commit more to the run, he may have a drop-off. I am kind of curious why Hillis and Benson maybe haven’t been signed yet, and if they are signed, will they have a prominent role at this point. Lots of questions at QB2/RB and PK.

good luck

Oldfatguy

4.7 oldfatguy - Andrew Luck QB11

7.10 oldfatguy - Ryan Tannehill QB22

Not bad here. Targeting Luck in these seems like good value. I think he outplays QB11 and creeps into QB6/7 range. Not sure you needed to pull the trigger on a back up that early. This is part of the reason I usually snag a QB early, guys like Tannehill who maybe don’t put up big numbers sometimes don’t seem worthy of a 7th round pick. I think you could have used that pick elsewhere with Luck on board and snagged a backup later, like an Alex Smith or something, which will give you probably about the same production but about 4-5 rounds later.

2.7 oldfatguy - Matt Forte RB11

6.7 oldfatguy - David Wilson RB27

9.10 oldfatguy - Bryce Brown RB43

12.7 oldfatguy - DeJuan Harris RB53

Harris could make or break this group and another body may have been nice. Could be better, could be worse, like if McCoy goes down and GB doesn’t bring anybody else in, etc. I’m not as high on this group as others may be as I am not a Forte fan. Michael Bush went a little earlier in this draft (9.2) then he has in some others and would have been a nice addition, but who knew he would be gone in the 9th. At least you have 4 guys who have shown ability to play. Brown pick seemed a little early.

1.10 oldfatguy - Brandon Marshall WR2

3.10 oldfatguy - Eric Decker WR16

5.10 oldfatguy - James Jones WR32

11.10 oldfatguy - Rueben Randle WR61

17.10 oldfatguy - Joe Morgan WR83

18.7 oldfatguy - Jarius Wright WR88

19.10 oldfatguy - Austin Pettis WR94

20.7 oldfatguy - Rishard Matthews WR102

This is pretty solid as it should be with 8 but one of those last 3 could have been RB depth. Jones in the late 5th seems strong.

8.7 oldfatguy - Jermaine Gresham TE12

10.7 oldfatguy - Dwayne Allen TE19

I like this combo and think it will keep you in the mix. You won’t be getting any monster weeks here but some decent scores.

15.10 oldfatguy - Shayne Graham PK #12

16.7 oldfatguy - Kai Forbath PK #21

13.10 oldfatguy - Minnesota DST #12

14.7 oldfatguy - Pittsburgh DST #17

Will Graham be kicking? Nothing special here, but no big deal.

Overall: I like what you did with your first 8 picks outside of Tannehill. I know the QB2 position is sometimes hard to judge when they will dry up, but I think I may have loved this team with something else at 7 and at 9 and then Alex Smith in 11 or 12. Ingram, Lamar Miller, Dwilly, maybe even Tate. I think this team could hang around awhile if you are able to get consistent production at RB, but that might be difficult. Even a late flyer would have helped, but otherwise, a pretty nice job. Good luck.

Re-posting to follow "instractions" a>

3.02 Jeff Pasquino - Matt Ryan - QB5 - ATL

7.02 Jeff Pasquino - Jay Cutler - QB19 - CHI

Super solid here. Looks like Cutler will throw even more this year. Strong strong group. Cutler as QB19 seems ridiculous.

1.02 Jeff Pasquino - Arian Foster - RB2 - Hou

8.15 Jeff Pasquino - Daryl Richardson - RB38 - STL

10.15 Jeff Pasquino - Ben Tate - RB46 - HOU

11.02 Jeff Pasquino - Bilal Powell - RB48 - NYJ

18.15 Jeff Pasquino - Joseph Randle - RB71 – ROOK

Well played locking up HOU RB’s. Times where both will score with Tate healthy. I’m luke warm on Richardson and need to see a little more. Powell pick at the time may look different here soon, unfortunately, but at the time I think it was solid. Hard to assess the rook. HOU bye week could be shaky here.

2.15 Jeff Pasquino - Roddy White - WR8 - ATL

4.15 Jeff Pasquino - Miles Austin - WR26 - DAL

5.02 Jeff Pasquino - Mike Wallace - WR27 - PIT/FA

12.15 Jeff Pasquino - Davone Bess - WR68 - MIA

16.15 Jeff Pasquino - Donnie Avery - WR81 - INDY

19.02 Jeff Pasquino - Marvin Jones - WR88 – CIN

I will probably miss out on some value with Austin in most of my drafts as he made his way on to my “take the next ranked player list”. You should be ok with the top 3. Bess pick seemed a little early. Not sure Jones will see enough balls in that offense with Green, Sanu, Hawkins, Gresham.

6.15 Jeff Pasquino - Dennis Pitta - TE8 - BAL

9.02 Jeff Pasquino - Brent Celek - TE17 - PHI

20.15 Jeff Pasquino - Ed Dickson - TE37 – BAL

I can see why you added Dickson in the last round, and it was probably either him or a WR. Might have been a good call with Casey in PHI now. Is Pitta a lock to be around TE8, I like him, but not sure.

14.15 Jeff Pasquino - Mason Crosby - PK5 - GB

17.02 Jeff Pasquino - Phil Dawson - PK22 - CLE/FA

13.02 Jeff Pasquino - New England - DEF/ST7

15.02 Jeff Pasquino - Philadelphia Eagles - DEF/ST19

Super solid 4some here even at the time (pre Dawson signing).

Overall: Pretty good job here. This team is built to survive a little I think if Rich, and/or one of your last 3 WR’s becomes an impact player. QB position should be a monster and could make up for an iffy RB2 if Richardson doesn’t pan out. Still not sure about the Dickson pick, I know it was “the last round” or whatever but I’m just wondering if that could have been something different.

Good luck. :banned:

okay Ref (BnB welcome too but from same draft)

4.16 Captain Hook - Ben Roethlisberger - QB14 - PIT

5.01 Captain Hook - Josh Freeman - QB15 - TB

18.16 Captain Hook - Dennis Dixon - QB34 – PHI

Without really looking ahead to the rest of the roster I think I am going to think the Dixon pick should have been used elsewhere, but I could be wrong. Hindsight is what it is but knowing somebody like Cutler would be there at the next turn might have allowed one of those 4/5 picks to be something else. Kind of another example of why I think going QB early and getting a stud makes sense in these things. Almost an attitude if you are going to use your 4/5 picks why not just burn an earlier one on a stud and go elsewhere at 4/5, backing your QB up later. I don’t know, different strokes I guess and you never know what strategy pays off. Part of me just doesn’t think Dixon outplays Vick/Foles.

1.01 Captain Hook - Adrian Peterson - RB1

9.01 Captain Hook - Bernard Pierce - RB39 - BAL

10.16 Captain Hook - Marcel Reece - RB47 - OAK

17.01 Captain Hook - Dexter McCluster - RB63 - KC

19.01 Captain Hook - Toby Gerhart - RB72 – MIN

Best and the rest. Big wait here for RB2 and I think McCluster will end up being a WR which puts a dent in this group. Could be a struggle to get a RB2 score here some weeks even with Pierce looking impressive. Dixon pick could have added some depth here especially with loss of McCluster to this group.

2.16 Captain Hook - Wes Welker - WR9 - NE

3.01 Captain Hook - Reggie Wayne - WR10 - INDY

8.16 Captain Hook - Golden Tate - WR48 - SEA

11.01 Captain Hook - Mohamed Sanu - WR58 - CIN

20.16 Captain Hook - Domenik Hixon - WR104 – NYG

Adding McCluster here helps while hurting your RB’s. Like your first two and they should score every week. You could ham and egg a WR3 score here but there are some issues after Wayne.

6.16 Captain Hook - Heath Miller - TE9 - PIT

7.01 Captain Hook - Brandon Myers - TE10 - OAK

13.01 Captain Hook - Scott Chandler - TE30 - BUF

The Miller pick has been discussed and poopin the bed and not knowing about him being injured will hurt. Tough to recover from things like that especially with a 6th round pick. And I’m not sold on Myers. Looked at the TE’s still available and even if he wasn’t hurt, you may have been able to look elsewhere instead of chasing last years stats. Myers does little after the catch and Chandler is also coming off of a pretty serious injury as well. I look at this group as a whole and with 3 of your first 13 picks invested, it should be stronger. I didn’t like your 6/7 turn at all here. Would have liked any combo of the Finley, Gates, Pettigrew, Gresham, Bennett, Rudolph’s that were still out there, better then these 3 combined.

12.16 Captain Hook - Arizona - DEF/ST6

14.16 Captain Hook - Tennessee Titans - DEF/ST18

15.01 Captain Hook - Greg Zuerlein - PK6 - STL

16.16 Captain Hook - Kai Forbath - PK21 – WASH

Doable 4some here.

Overall: Think you hit a couple speed bumps that will lead to your exit. I realize being at the turn it is a little different, but I think you kicked some picks in the heart of your draft (5,6,7,8,9) and you weren’t able to salvage it very well. Being locked in to go back to back same position picks may not always be the way to go. I think Dixon could have been used elsewhere. First 4 picks were pretty solid, but it went downhill from there.

good luck :banned:

3.6 Cam Newton- QB6 - Carolina

7.6 Jake Locker- QB23- Tennessee

This could be worse. Both QB’s can run a little which helps. Locker could have some games where he out produces Newton. Newton is a stud and still a beast inside the 5.

1.6 Jamal Charles- RB6- KC

6.11 Ryan Williams- RB32- AZ

8.11 Rashard Mendenhall- RB37- ?

9.6 Shane Vereen- RB 42- NE

11.6 Robert Turbin- RB 51- Seattle

Starting to warm a little more on Charles as the season gets closer, but I would have a hard time taking him that early. He takes a pounding every time he carries the ball and isn’t the kind of back that also deals out a pounding at the point of attack. I worry about him carrying a full load every week and hopefully Reid uses him more in the passing game like we think he will. You have some question marks after that and we’ll see how the running game works in out in AZ. At least you know you should have all of it. Vereen could be a solid play this year with Woodhead gone and Turbin just has that look doesn’t he? I like his game a lot. You could be ok here and get scores that keep you in the mix at RB.

4.11 Pierre Garcon- WR23- Washington

5.6 Greg Jennings- WR30 - ?

13.6 Julian Edelman- WR69- NE?

17.6 Jarius Wright- WR83- Minnesota

18.11 Brian Quick- WR87- Rams

19.6 Tavon Austin- WR89- rookie

20.11 Jacoby Ford- WR100- Raiders

It’s tough to start with Garcon. Seems like foot injuries are almost worse then knee injuries for some reason/lingers. But you can’t deny the production when he plays. I think Jennings is a solid pick in the 5th. Austin could be a steal and while I kinda like the complimentary players you put together here as a group there may times where this group needs other positions to carry them. The Garcon pick may be the one I like the least. I like Quick. For a time Ford seemed like there might be something there, but I’m not sure it is. .

2.11 Aaron Hernandez- TE4- NE

10.11 Dewayne Allen- TE23- Colts

One of my favorite combos. I like the value Allen represents and Hernandez should be steady if healthy.

14.11 Matt Bryant- K3- ATL

16.11 Connor Barth- K17-TB

12.11 Houston Texans D5

15.6 Washington Redskins D22

Very solid PK’s and a stud DST. Good work.

Overall: Could be ok if the pieces fall right for you. RB2 and WR3 are a little shaky. Garcon and Hernandez staying healthy are crucial. Vereen having a solid role will help.

:banned:

next up: jeaton

Ref - thanks for the writeup. Not a huge fan of this team either, especially now that Green has moved on - at the very minimum, I should have one less team to worry about watching in the fall. My big learning was that RB's feel even harder to come by here than they do in regular redraft leagues and that it pays to pay attention a little in the offseason...
