2013 Interboard Challenge League (1 Viewer)

I was awful...blatant that my success and pitifulness is 100% tied to Philly (I start Vick, D-Jax and McCoy each week). I may have to move McCoy for a like RB just to diversify my portfolio (I doubt after these past two weeks I would get good value for Vick or D-Jax).

Rene 121.6 and done: Assured of 3 wins. Could reach 5 if Colston is under 13 or hartline under 17.

BnB 137 and done: Looking at 5 wins if Colsten stays under 30.

Sinrman 123.9 plus Hartline: Only has one win locked up. Hartline outscores Colson -9 he picks ups another. I'll predict Brees doesn't score 45 so there's win. Hartline outscores Wallace by 12 that's win. Leading by 45 in another but facing Graham, Hartley, and Colston. 3.3 points for Hartline gives him another win. Let's say 5-2.

Old Mil done at 90.8: 0 and 7 on the week.

Ruds done at 85 and change: Another 0 and 7.

Gringo done around 100: Staring at 1 and 6 with a slight pray of 3 wins.

Ref 144.6 plus Hartley: Should finish at 6 and 1

Bro1ncos 106.8 Hartline, Sproles, and NO D: I'll say 6 and 1, but it's possible he'll sweep.

Clash 176.7 and done: 7 and 0 if Sturgis stays at 18 or less.

Duckboy 107.6 and done: Going to be between 0 and 2 wins so I'll go with one for now.

Holloway 81.5 plus Graham: Probably a donut unless Graham has another 10-100-1 line.

Sweet Love 112.3 and done: Kick in the nads award for the week...lost to a guy who started Rodgers (bye), Broyles, and NYJ D. Between 0 and 2 wins so I'll go with one.

27 and 57 on the week. We'll drop from 54 games over .500 to 24 games.
I think you mis counted. Using your win totals we are looking at ~37 wins this week.
Thank goodness for forgetting to carry the one. 37 and 47 looks much better.

After Graham's nice night, I managed two wins and also had two losses by a combined five points. Gronkowski come on down.

41 and 43 on the week. Monday Note was kind to us.

Very impressive that 10 of 12 of us have a winning record, and even our worst record would beat 3 or 4 guys on every other board. We lost a little ground this week, but that was bound to happen.

4 in the top tier, 6 in the second tier, 2 in the third tier, none in the bottom tier.

Ruds, dump Josh Brown for a kicker that will score....you too Holloway.

Couple guys I have an eye for are:

Andre Ellington

Jerricho Cotchery

Jerome Simpson

Garrett Graham (if you need a TE he is starting to get a lot more looks from Schaub)

I am looking to add a couple guys now that I feel more comfortable dropping Bradford as my 3rd QB.

i have been eye ballin Robert Woods in a lot of my leagues over the past couple of weeks....he is in on an insane number of snaps (like all of them but 2 or something last week)...when looking at some bench depth or bye week filler or whatever at this point....that seems like the kind of guy you maybe take a look at....while the situation may not be ideal....a guy that is playing almost every play gives you a decent chance for production in some way....

I'm assuming he may be available....

disregard...not available

Flipped the bottom end of my roster around. Dropped Avery for Ridley. Dropped Broyles for Rice. Dropped Bailey for Crosby. Anyone needing a decent kicked might want to get Bailey.

Now sitting with...

QB: Kap and RG3. Not feeling as good about this as the beginning of the year.

RB: Murray, SJax, Ridley/Vereen, Powell, Brown. Way too heavy here for this format. Mainly playing keep away although Powell has become a regular starter.

WR: CJ, Nelson, Moore, Rice, DHB. Not enough depth but plenty of flavors of the week on the wire. Probably should have Broyles to back up CJ but he didn't get many snaps last week. Only need to start two so I'm OK unless there's an injury.

TE: Cameron, Gates, Gronk. Will be starting two the rest of the year.

K: Crosby. Dropped Bailey for him and don't feel great about it. Liked that his bye was over and liked him better than Bailey this week. Dallas could get so far behind they don't kick FGs.

D: Buffalo. Working the wire each week until someone drops a good one I can snag.

Guys in bold came off the wire.

Nice way to pounce on the WW guys...I ended up with Rashad Jennings and am somewhat intrigued as a stash in case health for McFadden and Reece continue to go downhill.

wow...spaced the add/drop time this morning....surprised somebody gave up on Ridley already....nice work
Probably dropped him so he wouldn't be tempted to start him. I'm hoping when Gronk comes back that things will open up for Ridley. Of course by the time that happens, SJax and Vereen will be back.

Well I screwed up but it may work out. Picked up Buffalo Def and forgot to start them. I'll have to cut DHB or Bryce Brown to pick up a D. Any thoughts on which would be a better option? I know the McCoy owners will be all over Brown.

IMO...if you ever needed to use DHB....you could probably find his type of production on the waiver wire in some way, shape, or form....the reason you are holding onto Brown (possible injury to McCoy) and the production that would come along with that should it happen would not be available on the waiver wire....because you are right, all McCoy owners will snag Brown if available....

also if you would like to increase your chances of getting either of them back next week.....wait until the last minute to drop them....all add/drops for the week end at kickoff of the first games on Sunday 1:00 est...that will lessen the chances of either of them getting picked up right away and at least you might have a shot getting them back in waivers.....DHB against SEA probably won't blow up.....(of course now he will) but you know what I mean...so there probably won't be a rush to get him.....

Ruds, dump Josh Brown for a kicker that will score....you too Holloway.
I did that this week.

the death of Doug Martin and David Wilson not doing my teams any favors so far, but Fred Jackson came through nicely on Martin's bye week at least.

Still a couple versions of LeGarette Blount available if anyone needs a starting RB this weekend.

Ugh. Not a good week for me so far. It especially didn't help that Austin Miles didn't play and I did get a chance to swap him out. Probably because my second kid decided she wanted to come 6 weeks early yesterday morning and we've been completely tied up with all that.

Yea, it won't be a good week for me either. May go from 7-0 last week to 0-7 this week. Hopefully pull out a couple wins, but not real confident.

Congrats! Hope she is doing well (my first was born 5.5 weeks early).

Week 5

Rene 121.5 - One win locked up. Up in 3 others but will drop 2-3 of those games. Predict 2-5

BnB 92.3 with Powell and ATL left - Down in every game. Predict 2-5

Sinrman 79.2 with Ryan left - Will go 0-7

Old Mil 125 and done - Should go 6-1

Ruds 169 and done - 6-1 locked in

Gringo 137.5 and done - 5-2

Ref done at 124.3 - Predict 3-4

Bro1ncos done at 91.7 - Has a pretty decent shot at 2-5

Clash - 102.4 plus Bryant - won 2 and can notch a 3rd with Julio 15 or less. Predict 2-5

Duckboy done at 134.6 - 6 wins with kerley and Rodgers combined under 15. Predict 5-2.

Holloway done at 86.8 - Eats the donut at 0-7

Sweet Love 110.56 plus Julio and Rodgers - Predict 5-2

38 and 46 on the week

Do you guys think Fowles will be a hot WW pick this week? I have Vick and was going to pick Fowles up for the start, but not sure he makes to me (somewhere in the 80s).

1 and 6 on the week...sorry guys. Was without my 1st, 2nd, and 3rd round picks last week. The Powell train has come off the tracks with Goodson and Ivory back.

Well, my season may go up in flames. No Vick (this week), no Julio (anymore). I can still start McCoy, Welker, D-Jax, Hilton, Wright and Witten, but I am finally feeling the effects of the crappiness of Wilson and Ball...hadn't hurt me at all that neither panned out before the Julio injury.

we got to try and hold it together here during the bye weeks....lots of teams will be throwing out below average lineups with the heavy bye weeks approaching.....could see some low scores still getting victories.....we've come back to the pack a little, but the work we do over the next few weeks may really butter our bread.....this is why we lift all those weights.....c'mon boys....

If the Tampa Offense can wake up even a little, my team could really come on. Martin and Jackson have already had their bye and have been under-whelming to this point. Hafta think that will improve.

Didn't you just move VJax for Rivers?

Was coming here to post exactly this! :) (It was after my above posts).

I'm thinking Martin will continue (return?) to serviceability, but I'm pessimistic on Jackson returning to anything more than weak WR3 levels. Had a little WR depth so could afford to lose one. I was right on Alex Smith (more than serviceable backup, weak QB1 with the right matchup) but horribly wrong about ELi Manning...I have no faith that the Giants offense will recover. FIgure Rivers gives me another 5 points per week.

Now I have an extra QB again....not sure whether to ditch ELi or Alex SMith...debating who to pick up. Marlon maybe?

Not dropping either just yet. Nothing on waivers I need.

Surprised how high FBGs has Smith ranked this week...has me second guessing starting Rivers over him

Forced to go with a two TE set, inserting Garret Graham over Avery, Royal and Stevie Johnson.

Not to confident. Should I roll with Royal instead?

Thoughts?

Somehow, no clue how, I could go 6-1 if Luck does not score 30 and Hilton scores 15 tonight...likely, I will go 4-3, with just 111 points and Hilton to go is a small miracle.

If Gates doesn't outscore Wayne by 7+ tonight then I should go 6-1 this week. And that's despite a 2.6 from Donnie Avery and 0 from Miles Austin. Man Austin is killing me...

Rene 109.4 + Rivers: Likely has at least 4 wins, maybe 5. 4-3

BnB 91.7 + Gates: 3 wins with one another if Gates scores 9. 4-3

Sinrman 118.7 + Wayne: 3 wins pretty much locked, adds another Wayne scores 3, another if he scores 7, and another if Gates doesn't outscore Wayne by 7. 6-1

Old Mil done at 125.6: Unless Hilton goes nuts, 5-2.

Rudnicki done at 94.9: 5-2

Gringo done at 114.8: 3 wins with a 4th if Gates/Woodhead/Allen don't post 62+. 4-3

Ref 147.7 plus Woodhead: Should be a sweep if Woodhead gets a couple of pts. 7-0

Bro1ncos done at 104.2: What a muddled mess. Per his post 4-3.

Clash 98.7 + Luck: 4-3

Duckboy done at 112.4: Drew at bad slate. Maybe 3 wins, likely 2. 2-5

Holloway 74.2 and done: 0-7

Sweet Love 111.2 + Hilton: 3 wins, one loss locked in. Picks up 2 wins if Hilton scores 7 and another with Hilton at 15. 5-2

Should finish around 50-34 as a group.

Lots of weird stuff this week. We caught two Graham owners. Ruds got a donut from shorts.

Also to let you guys know, Mrs. Sweet Love was diagnosed with breast cancer a few weeks back, so in case I go dark for a few days, it will just be us dealing with that. Oddly, surgeries, etc., seem to be happening on Thursdays, so I will not be able to add/drop as well as I have been. If I really get in a jam, I may need some help...Rene, not that you have to manage my team, but if you happen to notice that I have not inserted a lineup with an hour or so to go, feel free to jump in and set it.
