I traded for Wilson today. With a rash of pre-season WR injuries (Crabtree, Harvin, DX) I am not sure that I can really compete in this particular league, 2013.

Though, I did squeak out a win in Week One :mellow:

I gave DMC, Bradshaw and a 2015 2nd for Wilson and Andre Brown. Picked up Da Rel Scott off of Waivers for $0. Obviously I perceive recent developments as a bump in the road.

The Hernandez looks weird I know, but we have a rule that has a compensatory pick for players with abruptly ended careers and I've been told he will be worth a 2014 1st. Also there is a condition on this, If Hernandez doesn't get a comp pick Team A gets their 2nd back.

Team A is not a contender but has some good young pieces to build from (Michael Floyd/Le'Veon Bell/Christine Michael/Bernard Pierce as the ones that come to mind)

League is 12 team PPR, 26 man full dynasty with rookie squads and two man taxi squad.

Team A is the same in both trades, basically folding up shop and going full rebuild.

Team B in trade one is finally competing after years of not making the playoffs.

Team B in trade 2 is a long time playoff team, having won their division 4 straight years and looking strong again.

Our rule on this is that the 2 commissioners will debate on what compensatory pick to give where it is at the end of a certain round whatever they decide. I've been told Hernandez, who was obviously a top5 talent at the position, will be worth a 1st but again its up to the 2 commissioners to figure out the talent and what he would have produced.

I actually like the Woods for Hill trade but I threw up at the second one.

Yeah that looks pretty bad. the only thing I can think is maybe the team getting Pead and Freeman is looking to buy super low and be ahead of the curve - i.e. thinking ahead to the possibility of a rejuvenated Freeman on another team, and maybe the same for Pead (or they don't believe in Richardson sticking), and thinking of Pryor as a one year experiment with the Raiders looking to draft a QB next year possibly, and Bell as a career backup with shorter term value.

The other team had a good team but is 0-2 due to some injuries. Lattimore I wasn't going to let go for less than a future 1st. Stafford IMO is pretty close to Rodgers in dynasty due to the 4+ year difference in age.

I actually took Eifert with the 1.03 rookie pick, but since I already have Graham I had always planned to trade one of the two. Basically just taking a mulligan and hoping that the RB/WR options in next year's draft will be more appealing to me than Hopkins/Patterson/Lacy were.
