2.03 gives a look at Ball/Murray/Jordy/Julius....I would strongly consider a RB there....it can go downhill a little at RB just prior to your 4.01 unless you are happy with rollig the dice a little....

if Mathews is available in the 6th I think that is the pick which would then allow you a little more freedom at 2 and 4....since you only have to start 1 RB

if you are not "all in " in Wallace or Smith....Jordy/Andre/Vjax....may be worth alook at 2.03

you might be able to get Ellington at 4.01.....not sure who you covet......

think you can wait on QB but if there is nothing you love at 4.01 and somehow Rodgers/Brees are still around......lock em up

Took that trade: figured there's a great chance Mathews is still available there, and I'll know it before I have to pick in drafts E or H. Good chance one of those other targets falls that far as well.

Good decision.

Some thoughts related to the recent posts.

Ellington and the Cards in general have a terrible playoff schedule and last IBL week schedule with Sea x 2, STL on the road, KC, and ATL away.

Vareen screams value to me right now.

RG3 is the QB you want. In this format he'll push Rodgers/Brees.

Always open to trading. I hope the later guys are following these drafts and attempting to move up into these earlier drafts when they see value.

Per Dodds, 290-313 pts captures QB 4 to 11. On average they'll lag Manning/Brees/Rodgers by 2 pts per week. If you want to wait and give up another 1.5 pts per week, you have 6 more QBs to chose from.

Biggest early values I've seen per Dodds

Marshall should be going at 1.7

Gronk should be going at 2.1

Foster should be going at 2.8

Bush should be going at 3.6

Harvin should be going at 3.9

Bell and Vereen in the very early 4th

Made another deal. Someone wanted T. Smith, and I managed to move back only a few picks to pick up 1 round on two other picks. Funny thing is, SMith might well be available in that other draft!

D. Thomas (1.03B), Mike Wallace (4.10B),

2.03H, 4.01E, 5.09E, 7.03B, 7.07E, 7.08C, 8.10B, 9.09E, 11.03B, 12.10B, 13.03B, 13.09E, 14.10B, 17.03B, 18.03B, 18.10B

GingRules give 5.09E, 9.09E and 13.09E

ReneSauz give 5.03B (Torrey Smith), 10.10B and 15.03B

I love making moves like this in the IBL.

FTR- be careful who you draft when. Sinrman took Bush in one draft at what most of us would consider appropriate value. The only problem is that Bush was still available in another draft a full round later. That's the ideal spot to trade out into the other draft and try to pick up value elsewhere.

Holy moly you've done well for yourself. Your team will be loaded.

If you've accumulated enough value that want to move that 2.3 for our 1.7, let us know.

Regarding the Sinrman situation, that's also the time to sit on a pick if one of your board mates is going to be up soon in the other draft.

Just made another move. Drop from 1.7 to 2.6 for a bump from 5.7 to 4.5 and 16.8 to 9.3.

Our updated board

Team Skinkin Ref / BassNBrew

2.6e
2.5c Gronkowski
3.11b Harvin
4.5c Welker
4.5d
6.10b
7.10h

10.5c
10.6c
12.5c
13.7e
14.5c
15.8c
17.8c

Actually we would like to move up from 4.5 to the mid 3rd or drop down to the 5th if anyone likes that 4.5 slot.

Thoughts? I am going to OTC soon in B, and of course Spiller, Gerhart and Hilton (my top 3) went right before me.

Thinking a fourth WR? Maybe a QB (I pick at 6.01 again) or a TE?

If I go WR, the following are available in B...Sanders, Decker

Any RBs look good in that spot.

NOTE: I am going out of the country on Thursday of next week, so I am hesitant to trade into a later draft (kind of why I stuck with Bush for my last pick).

Ughh...don't know what happened. I thought I cleared the cache on my predraft (maybe I had to hit submit after I took them out, though I think I did), so autodraft went and I took Stafford...not horrible, but I am usually someone who waits on QB, so taking a top 5 guy kills me (to BnB's point above).

On a side note, 1.10H offered me his first and a bump in the back rounds, for my 1.11A (who is Brandon Marshall). I do own him and Alshon, but was hoping to move Jeffrey (not Marshall). Curious if anyone has any thoughts as to whether I should do that trying for Julio? If not, just take Marshall again.

Mr OUtlaw sent me messages saying he was trying to trade with you. You can always leave a list with us for picks that will come up while you're out of town

Made yet another small trade back. Was thinking TE this AM before I went to bed, but a run of them went off the board. Currently have L. Miller predrafted at 7.10C with Bowe as second option. Would have gone Miller had I not moved back. Thinking I might wait a couple more rounds at TE- looking at Zach Ertz and Jay Cutler as potential values for starters at those positions while I grab a stud RB and a couple more stud-ish WRs with the earlier picks I still have. Thoughts?

7.10C and 12.03C for my 7.08C and 12.10B

Yeah, I thought of that. My problem right now is I've had a lot of work stuff going on this week, so I ended up pre-drafting a few picks.

QBs taken thru the current draft slot or 10th round

Draft A: 7 - a, 1 - b, 1 - d

Draft B: 7 - b, 1 - h, 2 - e, 1 - c, 1 - g

Draft C: 9 - c, 2 - a, 1 - b, 3 - h, 1 - f

Four owners in H have moved up for a QB. 2 in e, 1 in d/g/f

The H owners draft Brady, Wilson, Rivers, and Manning.

If you're waiting a on a QB, you may want to look at trading into the H draft because there's potential for some slippage there. With that being a latter draft, there will be less competition to trade into that draft.

great insight here. I have a pick in H, but it's a second. I'll watch for a chance to lateral to H if I don't manage Cutler where I want him

Expanding on my earlier point...

Here's the QB breakdown from last year...

A 13/20, 10/13, 7/10

B 13/20, 10/14, 7/11

C 13/20, 10/13, 7/10

F 13/20, 10/12, 7/9

G 13/19, 10/13, 7/10

H 13/20, 10/12, 7/8

What you are looking at for draft A is 20 QBs selected prior to round 13, 13 QBs selected prior to round 10, and 7 QBs selected prior to round 7.

You'll note that two less QBs were selected in draft H prior to round 7 than in drafts A/B/C. Last year draft F was active in moving to an earlier draft to select a QB. You'll see the impact in the draft F numbers. Here are the specifics.

I'm a little more hesitant on Dez. Still a top 3 or so WR, but I worry about his QB. Romo is 34 and coming off of back surgery. A hit or two and he's in a grave. And we'll have...who throwing the ball to Dez?

Anyone watching the C board have any suggestions at RB/TE/QB?

I know it's McFadden, but seems worth a flier in the 14th round. Bernard Pierce and Mark Ingram are still there too. TE I like Garret Graham. QB Alex Smith I guess?

I LOVE Ingram at that price. Dude could still come around, showed a lot at the end of last year, and with Sproles in Philly is likely to get a lot more action. Plus, Thomas hits 30 by season's end- far from a zero chance he falters enough to elevate Ingram even more. Worst case he'll be a bye week flex, which is all your counting on that lat anyway.

just throwing out a IMO....but i'd rather gamble on Robinson's upside if he is still available than Ingram all of a sudden becoming the second coming after having been given the chance to run away with this job for a couple of years....he can't shake Thomas.....Khiry might be able to....

Actually kinda digging my team so far (see sig). I like the flexibility I should have with it (barring injuries). Only thing I kinda regret so far is waiting so long on TE, since you have to start at least 1.

Weird...we each have Bush, Jennings and CJ as our RBs...and yes, I regret waiting on TE. Especially since mine got suspended an hour after I selected him.
