Been trying to get on football guys site for the last half hour. Anyone know if it's down for maintenance or something? There was no email about it.

In a draft & need the pick value calculator. :)

Mobile app is down too.

FBG Staff are aware of the problem, which only seems to be affecting a small minority of people; please be patient while Keith et al. work out the problem.

The main server that hosts footballguys.com is located in a datacenter in Lansing, MI on a webhost by the name of LiquidWeb.

There is an ongoing issue with internet connectivity in the area. Four of the Tier1 Internet Providers in the area are experiencing connectivity issues ranging from moderate to major outages. I know that these providers are all having issues -- look at the Lake Michigan/Central Michigan area in the downdetector maps:

- Comcast - http://downdetector.com/status/comcast-xfinity/map/
- Time Warner Cable - http://downdetector.com/status/time-warner-cable/map/
- AT&T (but not wireless) - http://downdetector.com/status/att/map/
- Verizon Wireless (but not FiOS/DSL) - http://downdetector.com/status/verizon-wireless/map/

There is a rumor floating around that there was a fiber cut last night on a major trunk line between Chicago and Detroit. There also seems to have been a big storm that went through central Michigan/Detroit overnight that could have caused or worsened the issue.

LiquidWeb is working with the providers to establish a timeframe for restoration of services. As you can see from the maps above, some providers (TWC and Verizon Wireless) are in better shape than others (AT&T and Comcast). As any provider becomes more stable, LiquidWeb will shift more of their incoming network onto this provider and off the affected ones. You can follow their Twitter feed for direct updates at https://twitter.com/LiquidWeb

What's Definitely Up:
The message boards are unaffected
The mailing list server is unaffected
The FBG Cloud for the apps is unaffected
The Audible's iTunes hosting infrastructure is unaffected

What Could be Down, Depending on Your ISP:
footballguys.com
subscribers.footballguys.com
New data downloads from the Apps

Folks who are down on their WiFi networks will often be able to load the site on their LTE/G4 cellphone networks -- I'm in that boat myself as my WiFi connection to the server is down but I can browse normally through my phone.

The site is still down. The one time I want to get on the site to do some research and of course I can't. Frustrating. :help:
