Jesus Christ can you guys stop bumping this thread with Landry news
No link, but I believe I heard that Tom Landry will not be getting an MRI this week. You know who was a good coach was that Tom Landry. Always wore that hat too. A lot of guys couldn't pull off a hat like that, but on him, perfection.
I like you viewpoint.cubbie5150 said:He's been playing w/ this for weeks... I'd be surprised if he opted for surgery at this point. I think we're fine for RoS. :fingerscrossed:
freaking Warrior !Jeff Darlington @JeffDarlington
I'm told Jags WR Allen Hurns is back in Jax after seeing core specialist in Philly, and all signs still point toward him playing Thursday.
Nah. They'll ride him as long as he is willing/able to go out there and play with the injury. Might as well do the same in fantasy. I doubt he makes it the rest of the season but, in the meantime, smoke 'em if you got 'em.I wouldn't dismiss a sports hernia especially if he felt the need to seek out a specialist on a short week. Obviously he's in incredible pain. He cannot be 100% so you have expect the Jag coaches to limit his exposure.
Allen Hurns could undergo sports-hernia surgery following the season.
Hurns met with a specialist on Monday, who clearly told him the operation could be deferred until January. Hurns has been playing through the issue, and remaining highly productive. He'll be a WR2 against the Titans on Thursday.
I hope your right my friend......... WarriorThis guy is going to win some teams championships.
They have a hard time letting go, but drop off on others so quickly.shadyridr said:I find it funny how RW keeps calling him a WR2 yet AJ Green is a locked in WR1.
Nice to see a Crazylegs Hirsch mention.Faust said:

At the time, the jags were definitely not playing to win.Teams don't play for streaks they play to win
What is funny about your post?Thursday night games are well known as risky plays for ALL offensive players. Not sure why anyone is surprised THIS is the week he throws up a stinker.
Allen Hurns - WR - Jaguars
Allen Hurns was stretchered off the field in the fourth quarter Week 12 against the Chargers with a concussion.
Hurns tried making a catch over the middle late in the final quarter. The pass came in low from Blake Bortles, and Hurns dove head-first to try and scoop it off the turf, but slammed his head and neck into field as he was attempting the grab. It looked like he was knocked out. The medical staff had to stabilize Hurns' neck, but he did give two thumbs up on the way off the field. Before leaving, Hurns caught 4-of-9 targets for 42 scoreless yards. Bortles had a bad day.

After being hospitalized in the Jaguars' Week 12 loss to the Chargers, Allen Hurns tweeted Sunday evening that he'll "be okay."
Hurns was diagnosed with a concussion after being stretchered off the field, but word from the Jaguars is that he escaped with "only" the concussion. Hurns will have to pass through the NFL's concussion protocol to receive clearance for Week 13 against the Titans. We suspect he'll be a long shot.
