Okay I am tired of this please pm next run we have going - that is a responsibility EACH of us have and there is no way to know when the next person will read this thread and clean up after you. PLEASE PM the next drafter yourself (not personal but this is quite a run and it really slows down the draft)

PM'd Hook some picks for rounds 1 and hopefully 2 so you don't have to wait today. Not sure when I can take a peek today.

A few on here have my cell # and I would prefer a text to a PM just for speed and convenience.

I would be willing to give my # to more people for the sake of speed on the days I can't be around the board as much.

or I guess I could just intentionally time out when I am at 15

:goodposting:
Since this would cause an unnecessary delay to this draft and the start of wsl3, I suggest just making the switch now.

1.10 LeSean McCoy, RB PHI

PM sent to Rene immediately after I picked.

Okay rearranging the draft order with Renesauz going to 1.16 and moving Sweet Love up a spot

last pick made around 8am (Central). And then he timed out 5 hours later?

in round 1 in January, isn't this a bit aggressive?

would rather not hold up the draft tho

You can take a pass when the 1.15 pick comes up. That would put Rene on a four hour clock. If he timed out he would be replaced. If you do take a pass, you will be working with a 4 hour clock going forward form the 16th slot.

Seems kind of crazy to me because the 13 to 15 slots are prime for manipulating you picks.

He gets his 8 hours to make his pick.

eta: Rene has a job that doesn't allow internet access but he does keep up with these drafts. Good chance he checks in later.

I realize the simple thought process would think the 15th slot is better than the 16th.... but to me it's not.....

I'm not worried about trying to manipulate anybody else or their picks during the draft.....I just want to keep my spot

I like my pick but I lose it because somebody else times out?.....(not slamming on Rene, just sayin)....doesn't matter who it is....and it could happen a few more times and I find myself really bumped up to where I don't want to be (12-15, etc)....

I think the guys at the end should be allowed to pass on the bump up if they chose, without penalty of clock reduction....

That's what I'm wondering. These didn't start when they were originally meant to, and I received ZERO PM's/notices that it had started at all or where my draft slot was.

My first indication that it had kicked off was a PM sent at 9 AM EST that I was OTC. Since I work nights, I was asleep then and just woke up a few minutes ago.

I say give Rene his slot back.

It's all good. I don't mind being on the end as much as I mind the "timeout". Almost prefer the end right now TBH.

I'll stay there.

I do think the clock should be extra generous in the initial round of a January draft that didn't kick off when expected, not extra tight.

Sorry, but if everyone refused the bump we wouldn't ever get moving again. If people want to angle for the last spot it will cost them 4 hours.

I'm ruling this a valid pick and on time. Invoking the commish's discretion rule and not setting a precedent that the initial clock is 8 hours and 3 mins.

in round 1 in January, isn't this a bit aggressive?

That's what I'm wondering. These didn't start when they were originally meant to, and I received ZERO PM's/notices that it had started at all or where my draft slot was.

My first indication that it had kicked off was a PM sent at 9 AM EST that I was OTC. Since I work nights, I was asleep then and just woke up a few minutes ago.

It's all good. That said I had a ####storm dumped in my lap this week and couldn't get things kicked off on time. I did post a notice to that extent. Everyone should know by now to start checking in this week and that there is a general draft started pm. I did pm the first three up in each league.

If I'm still up, let me have Demarius THomas.

I'm ruling this a valid pick and on time. Invoking the commish's discretion rule and not setting a precedent that the initial clock is 8 hours and 3 mins.

best call you made all year so far....you should look into becoming a ref...... :penalty:

1.10 LeSean McCoy, RB PHI

PM sent to Rene immediately after I picked.

Okay rearranging the draft order with Renesauz going to 1.16 and moving Sweet Love up a spot

last pick made around 8am (Central). And then he timed out 5 hours later?

You're correct and I should have checked in this AM before heading to bed. To that end, it's more my fault then anyones.

Usually in these we have a draft thread/draft order up a couple days ahead of an official start time and/or leave the clock off for a day or two at the start. I'm not sure why WSL's would be different in that regard.

Looks like Sinrman took Jordy at 1.14, because of course the top 4 guys on my board after 1.10 would get taken in the next four picks.

1.15 - Julio Jones, WR ATL

ETA: Ref has been PM'ed.

What the #@&$ is going on ?

I thought it was a relaxed throw down amongst the best of the best!

Looks more like a cat fight between women.

ETA: we need to delete all the drama posts or start a new thread. :unbearable:
