Dynasty IDP - Pay WRs for LBs, or stand pat?

2 posts in this topic

This is my first dynasty IDP league (startup last summer) - I ended up winning the toilet bowl to pick up an extra 1st rd pick (if I'd made the playoffs, I may have won the championship with my team's finish).

I think I definitely have a win-now-ish team, with McCoy, AP, Calvin, Martellus (either that, or I need to sell for a rebuild). My problem is my LBs are pretty weak. Should I be looking to make deals this early in the offseason, or stand pat until later in the summer, as we get more info on schemes/signings that could impact IDP talent?

I've got a few trade talks brewing that basically hinge on me dealing Davante Adams or Cody Latimer or both for elite LB talent. I'm uncertain about dealing offense for defense, but my LBs do look bad.

Specs and roster below.

Now that I see your roster., I would not trade Latimer for the Smith/Mosley combo. Maybe let a John Brown or Paul Richardson go instead. You are going to need him. Unless you like who you get at the 1.13 this year more than Latimer, than I would trade him or go about trading down from the 1.13 to get 2 2nds or more. Some nice LB's coming out in this draft.
