I've had one for about a year. Works fine on my 5s I don't think it would have a problem with a bigger phone.

Can you play cds at the same time? My wife plays a lot of cds but wants something to hold her phone in the car. This could be the ticket...This is fantastic. Just ordered one for a drive down to NOLA this weekend. Will be awesome for Escort Live monitoring / Waze navigation etc. Price is right as well.

I just bought this ($5). It comes in today. It uses a magnet that you put in-between the case and phone or inside the phone itself (between battery and cover). I don't listen to CD's so I haven't tested that, but I see no reason why it wouldn't work. I've been using ice tongs for my grill tongs for years...I like the smaller size and dexterity for flipping stuff...They struggle with larger items though. these are pretty sweet, so I may have to get a pair.

I tried this and I think I got a couple of duds. Got one and exchanged it and the exchange didn't work either. The joint where the arm attaches to the base didn't seem to have enough tension (and no way to tighten it on the model I got, although it appears that icon's has a screw to tighten maybe? that's not the model they sent me), so it wouldn't stay in the upright position when the phone (iPhone 6). The exchanged one was just a little better, but still wouldn't do the job. Oh yeah - I go back to my original statement that it doesn't look like the same product. The first option pictured is a totally different design. Those velcro ones are fantastic. I have a few packs in my tool box. The thing I really like about them is you can link a few together to hold thicker things together too. I actually loop them around the handle of all my corded tools (recip saw, circ saw, compressor, etc.) so I can just loop the cord and fasten it to the tool. No more mess.
