What happens when a DFS site misprices a player? (1 Viewer)

Im asking for a friend, ...

In this case its not a 10,000 player poorly prices at 6,000, its a player that was clearly intended to be priced at $6200 and is instead $620. This is obviously below the position floor and a mistake. Has this happened before? Can we assume theyre going to kill "my friends" action after the fact?

I'm pretty sure you are referring to Isaiah Ford who was incorrectly priced on the FanDuel Sun-Mon CFB slate.

This does happen occasionally. That's why it is always a good idea to scroll to the bottom of the player pool for each slate. When a mispricing happens for a player that is going to produce it's almost always a good idea to roster them as their ownership percentage is going to be extremely high.

Once contests are posted to the lobby they cannot be removed and player pricing cannot be changed. Your friend's contests will run and pay out as they normally would.

Yeah, when mistakes occur, the mispriced players may be rostered at their mistaken prices.

A few years ago one site priced the Redskins defense at $3. They only scored like 1.5 points that week, but they totally hit value!
