I believe Hawklets90 set the record at 328 in League 4 Week 1 this year. That's the highest total that I can remember.

I checked the records pages for each of the leagues, and there weren't any scores over 300 before this year. Which would make your 316 this week the second best all-time. Top 3 are:

328.28 Hawklets90, 2015 week 1, league 4

316.58 BassNBrew, 2015 week 3, league 1

287.98 Stinkin' Ref, 2011 week 2, league 4

 
I checked the high scores from the now defunct Leagues 9 and 10 and they were not higher than any of those. Back in the beginning, we did not use MFL for the first couple or few seasons, but NFL scoring was nowhere near what it is now so I doubt anyone would have had scores that high. For the real old timers, was it Twilight that set up and scored the leagues back then (when there were only two leagues)?

 
I looked up the top individual scoring seasons on MFL. Here are the teams listed with 3400 points scored in a season. Clearly it is not accurate, as certain owners are listed with the same score in the same season with the same exact total in multiple leagues(which would never happen), It looks like the search tool identifies a team name that had a high score but will list it in all leagues from that season with the same score.

Interesting that the 316 came with 3 or 4 zeros.

I suspect the big scores will always be in the early weeks before bye weeks and injuries add up.

The same bug is showing up in the weekly high scores. I think what happened is that League 8 was created by copying League 1, and so all of the records for League 1 (for 2011 and before) got included in the League 8 history. And similarly, Leagues 6 & 7 were created by copying League 2, and longer ago League 5 was a copy of League 1.

More evidence: If you go to League 8, then to the "My Leagues" dropdown menu, then to "2011 League Home", it takes you to the League 1 2011 page.

 
Here is the all-time leaderboard for best weeks, based on all the data that is on MFL for leagues 1-10 (which goes back to 2006). It has the top 1444 weeks (every week with a score of 208.36+), which is the limit of what I can get with MFL's top 200 search for each league. Top 10 are:

Not sure when I first started doing these but not surprised to see my name up there....especially above Bass....jk

Can't really talk too much smack as I think the year I put up a big number is when I took Gronk, Graham , and Hernandez in 3 out of the first 5 rounds...the year Graham first broke out and gronk and Hernandez did their thing...

is 295.06 close enough...?.....probably not but does now give me 3 of the top 5 scores of all time....and that was without my 3rd round pick K. Benjamin available....

guess I'll just have to settle for currently being in first place in both Anarchy 1 and Anarchy 2.....

in case you were :oldunsure: what :whoosh: that was blowing by you in Anarchy 1.....that was just the measly 246 I threw down.....

 
Yearly totals at this point in the season are greatly impacted by when your players have their bye weeks. For example, Ref has had only 3 players who have had byes so far in League 2. My team has already had 11 players that had their byes. So Ref gets to brag that he is ahead at this juncture, while I get the comfort of knowing that my players will make up the 75 point deficit between his team and mine and then some while his players are in the hot tub or fishing for a week.

Since this league includes playoff scoring, half of Ref's roster comes from teams not likely to make the post season. Other teams have only a few players from bottom feeder teams. So sure, he's in first place, but that doesn't tell the whole story. And all teams are a freakish injury away from going from contender to pretender.

ZWK is walking away with it. 3606.94 points so far with Devin Funchess, Cairo Santos, and NEP still playing. Currently at 3606.94. IIRC, all time high score is 3781.76. Probably won't get there, but still an all time Top 3-5 Anarchy scoring season (and could still make it to second overall).

ryheaps is a distant second with 3094.26 points.
