Rt Sports issue (1 Viewer)

After our first waiver wire ran I dropped player A....subsequently another team picked him up that same day and dropped player B..... Player B was then picked up....Both player A and Player B were then inserted into week 2 lineups. Here is the issue.... Player A SHOULD HAVE been a protected free agent and unavailable to be picked up until the next waiver wire ran. Player B also should have been locked. Both players somehow ended up in lineups week 2. The bad news is it wasnt noticed until AFTER week 2 games were complete. The commish came up with about the best decision he could and Im not here asking for advice. Im just here to let folks know that it happened in our league so it potentially happened in yours as well. Below is a copy/paste from Rtsports customer service rep Curtis:

The Protected FAs should be corrected now. We believe the mobile app

was somehow allowing people to bypass the Protected FA rule but after

getting in touch with the developers, it appears the issue should now be

fixed and not occur in your league again .

Sorry for the inconvenience.
Please let us know if you have any other
questions or concerns.

Thank
You

Yeah, the RTSports mobile app has sucked so far, but most things suck when they first come out. That's why you should never buy the first year of a new model car.

Fortunately, RTS has already had a couple of updates to the app.

It should get better with time.

Anyone else having a problem with RT sports site down this morning?!

Houston we have a problem.......

I hope it gets resolved quickly. Our waivers were supposed to go through last night and having games going on today. This could be a cluster.

Their twitter site has no mention of it.
