I think Seager was winning anyway.  He's 2nd in the NL in WAR, 6th in XTRA base hits, and leads Story in almost every category but homers and steals.  He's also a plus defender and Story is a little below average.
Maybe, but if Trevor went over 30 hr with around 100 Rbi, I bet it would be hard for voters to ignore that Story.

Sources: Prince Fielder’s career appears over. #Rangers expected to hold press conference tomorrow.
From the Rotoworld blurb: If Fielder indeed walks away, he'll retire with 319 career homers, which is the same total as his dad, Cecil Fielder.

Did he call Harold Reynolds to tell him it was time to say goodbye?

Almost two months missed with a blister? How dried up was this old hag Rich Hill was fingerblasting to cause that kind of damage?

Is it possible that Noah Syndergaard doesn't know that the rules of baseball allow baserunners to try to advance prior to and during pitches?  Someone should probably tell him.

Stolen bases allowed, pitchers:

1. Noah Syndergaard, NYM, 36

2. Steven Matz, NYM, 20

3. Cole Hamels, TEX, 19

4. Jimmy Nelson, MIL, 18

National League starting to turn into the NBA Eastern Conference 2004, nobody wants it, lot of .500 baseball for the last couple wildcard spots.

Cards open a 10 game road trip before coming home to face the Mets...next 2 weeks are tough sledding for them.

It amazes me even more that Jon Lester isn't at the top of this list.  It seems like the fact that everyone in the stadium knows he won't throw to first base somehow psychs the runners out.
