Anyone else onto this show?

DVR setup to record it, and I cannot get enough. an hour per day I feel like such a "nerd"

but damn, I wish I knew how to forge a blade.

such a dweeb... part of why I love it... he has that #### eating grin on his face when he slices the blades thru the air like he's some ancient samurai with 100 kills to his name...

My guess is his real name is Eugene and he's from Michigan but he's watched a couple samurai flicks.

 
Forged in Fire: Knife or Death is on right now. History channel. I turned it on late, but it's cracking me up. 

Think American Ninja Warrior with knives. 

Haven't seen anyone get through the chicken yet.

I like the Asian guy.  He seems very friendly and always has a smile on his face.  

I don't go out of my way to watch the show, but if I come across it I will watch it.  

Make a knife out this old lawnmower, trash car, six pack of molson.  So creative.

I've seen a few episodes. I don't go looking for it, but will watch it if I catch it on. Asian guy should dial it up a bit. "Sorry, Bill, your blade is complete ####." 

 
Could only get through about 20 minutes of this horse ####.  

I can't stand anything about this show, from the concept to the host, judges ...or contestants.

Yeah. I can't get into the normal episodes. I usually just end up thinking Big Giant Swords was a better show.

But the Knife or Death competition was pretty funny/entertaining.

 
Love this show and so does my 7 yr old. The new spinoff one last night was killing me with goofy Travis as the goofy guy with each competitor.  

 
I've convinced my wife, who watches Food Network, this is simply another version of 'Cupcake Wars'.
