***Official Democratic Debate @ South Carolina Thread*** (1 Viewer)

Figures Michael Moore is a Bernie supporter. What an embarrassment he is to the Democratic party. Not quite on Trump's level, but close.

Taking a break from the clown show that is the Republican race, tonight contest features a Democratic socialist vs. a political machine who is running for a 3rd term of President Obama's presidency. Looking forward to Sanders spending more money tonight without disclosing how he'll pay for it (i.e. the middle class), while Clinton will pretend to be far on the left spectrum as well (the latest being her tough stand on guns and Wall Street). I'm not sure how anyone can believe a word of what she says. At least Sanders is somewhat forthcoming even though he's pulling money out of your pocket...

Depressing.

Does it concern anyone that more Democrats in Iowa (if I remember the polling correctly) say they are a socialist over a capitalist?

Does that translate into votes for Bernie?

It does say that a significant number of voters in that state will not hold the socialist label against him, whether it means more than that we find out when the Iowa caucuses are held.

I think Webb and O'Malley were the best candidates. Sanders is a nut job, and Hillary still isn't threatened enough in this race to really make any of these debates exciting.

With Bernie's new health plan, Hillary is now the only candidate on either side who won't meddle too much with healthcare. You would think all the fights of the Obama years were enough for anyone, but if we elect Bernie, Trump, Cruz, or Rubio, we're sure to have another big health care fight ahead.

I'd say she is now. Tonight will be intriguing.

You might be right. Thing is, I think she would throw the gloves off before Sanders would. And her large lead has allowed her to keep them on. I could see her basically saying Sanders is a lunatic who has no chance to win and on the miracle that he did he wouldn't get any legislation passed. I tend to agree. I can't see how a lot of the stuff he wants to do would get passed with a democratic lead congress let alone a republican one.

She is not going to leave the ACA alone. She has said she is going to "revise" it.

Which party runs the major city police departments in this nation again?

Chicago?

Baltimore?

Minneapolis?

And yet another question about heroin.

Don't get me wrong, I think there should be questions about this, but why don't they ever ask Republicans about it?
