Well, there were my top four. Kershaw has the advantage but the others were a tough choice. Almost went Bumgarner, but decided on Arrieta's historic whip and HR rates, even in a much more offensive oriented park. Scherz was just behind - probably the safest bet, but historic baseline suggests maybe not quite as dominating as the others for WIS purposes.

You, of all people, should be aware of his WIS effectiveness.

Arrieta is by far the least safe of the choices imo, but he had a heck of a season last year. Just two years ago, he was kind of sucky. Had a .246 babip last year...his career average is .272.

As always, Koya knows best though.

I really don't know who I would have picked 4th. Arrieta probably as good a choice as any. I usually write down who I was considering as an alternative, so I can go back and see how dumb I was. For my Trout pick, I wrote... Correa, I guess... or xxxxxxxxxxx (player who isn't picked yet)

Yes, killer stats - but if he goes toward his higher historical whips and HR rate could be less uber awesome since we are cutting hairs

I'll be at work the rest of the evening and probably won't be checking the thread much.

I'm bringing a list though, so someone text me if I come up and I should be able to pick.

The Teamocil organization values continuity. It's important that we really gel.

Could just be sick this year. Still think he's the best pitcher, while harvey's the best arm.

Since I don't do fantasy baseball and was thrust into this last year like my Jordanian friend Adickin Yomouf, where can I find free lists and ####, ideally by position and all?

If only there were a BaseballTangent site or something.

Fangraphs has stuff. If you don't know about it already, you probably should.

Thanks oosh. That got me one Max Sherzer ####### performance away from a WS title... this year, like Chem X, I'm actually trying.

Which will surely doom my chances.

Does Fangraphs require registration to see projections?

I hacked all your cheat sheets for a decade here for WIS, I'm sure I can hack their site.

No. Steamer stuff is up right now. Kind of useful to use WAR projections for this because you can take into account defense.

Must be something with my work Net access fouling it up, then. Can't see anything.

EDIT: Oh, I see -- can see Steamer on Fangraphs. I was looking for ZiPS, and it must not yet be ready.
