How To Get To Heaven When You Die (1 Viewer)

Paddington

Footballguy
PLEASE TAKE THE TIME TO READ THIS.  IT'S THE MOST IMPORTANT THING YOU COULD EVER DO AND IT ONLY TAKES A FEW MINUTES.

ARE YOU 100% SURE THAT IF YOU DIED TODAY THAT YOU WOULD GO TO HEAVEN?

There are some things that you should know:

 1. Realize that you are a sinner and in need of a Savior:

Ro 3:23 "For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;"

Ro 3:10 "As it is written, There is none righteous, no, not one:"

This all began with the story of Adam and Eve in the garden of Eden. God created them perfect, there was no death or sorrow. God told them not to eat of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil. They disobeyed God and as a result, sin entered into the world. The pain which this world sees is the result of sin.

 2. Because of our sins, we die both spiritually and physically, but God sent His Son to die so that you can have a chance not to have to go to hell by accepting what He did on the cross for you:

Ro 6:23 "For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord."

Ro 5:8 "But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us. for us."

Every person who has ever lived is a sinner and is not righteous because we do bad things. A sin is a crime against God, just as if you steal something at the store, it is punishable by going to jail. It's the same thing with sin. Even if we lie one time, the punishment is hell, which is a prison for those who commit crimes against God.  That’s because you must be perfect in order to get to heaven. No matter how well you live your life from then on, you have already committed a sin which will be punished if you are not pardoned. If you commit a crime, and then live as a good citizen you still will go to jail for the crime you committed. Right? Just as the president can pardon a crime so you won't go to jail, Jesus can pardon your sins so that you do not go to hell, and can go to heaven when you die.

 3. If you will Admit to Jesus Christ that you are a sinner and in need of a Savior, Believe in your heart that He died on the cross and rose from the dead and Accept Him as your Lord and Savior and you will be forgiven and taken to heaven to be with Him when you die.

Joh 1:12 “But as many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God, to those who believe in His name”

Ro 10:9,10 "that if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved.."

You cannot get to heaven by being a good person, going to church, baptism or any other way other than by turning to Jesus, believing in your heart that He died on the cross and rose from the dead for your sins and placing your trust in Him. While these are good things to do, some people believe that they will get to heaven if they do these things, but the bible says that there is only one way to heaven and that is through receiving what Jesus Christ did on the cross for you.

Will you do that today? If you will, you can be 100% sure that you will go to heaven when you die.

DO YOU BELIEVE THAT JESUS CHRIST DIED ON THE CROSS AND ROSE FROM THE DEAD FOR YOUR SINS?

ARE YOU WILLING TO TURN TO JESUS CHRIST FOR SALVATION?

 4.  Dear friends, Take this moment, If you want to accept Jesus Christ free gift of salvation, Or if you have any doubts about whether or not you are going to heaven, pray this from your heart, humbly to God:

"Dear Lord Jesus, I believe and confess that You are the Lord and believe in my heart that You died on the Cross and Rose from the dead for my sins. I now place my faith in You as my Lord. In Jesus holy name, Amen."

If you have placed your faith in Jesus Christ and meant it with all of your heart, you are now a child of God and will go to heaven.

Now that you are on your way to heaven, you should attend a bible believing church and follow in baptism.

Heaven is two chicks at the same time and the best part is you don't even have to die to get there.

Got any good cookie recipes?

They're chewy:

Acorn and Beet Cookie Recipe

Ingredients
1 cup of acorn flour
1/3 cup of date sugar (palm and coconut blossom sugar are good substitutes)
1/4 cup beet puree
1 egg
1 tablespoon of orange juice
1 teaspoon of coconut oil
1/4 teaspoon of ginger powder
1/4 teaspoon of vanilla essence
1/8 teaspoon of salt

Instructions
Peel as much beets as you want to use. Cut into chunks. Steam or cook for about 20 minutes until soft. Let it cool off a little, put it in a blender or food processor and blend into a puree. You might want to add a little water while blending. I used 1/4 cup of water for 800 grams of steamed beets.

Add all cookie ingredients to a food processor and process into a dough. This can also be done with a mixer or just by hand and spoon. You choose.

Preheat oven to 390 degrees Fahrenheit/200 degrees Celsius and line a baking tray with baking paper.

Form 10-12 balls from the dough by using your hands.

Put the balls on the baking tray and make them flat by patting on them with your fingers.

Put the tray in the oven and bake for 15-18 minutes.

Two species closely linked with decomposition are blowflies and flesh flies (and their larvae). Cadavers give off a foul, sickly-sweet odour, made up of a complex cocktail of volatile compounds that changes as decomposition progresses. Blowflies detect the smell using specialised receptors on their antennae, then land on the cadaver and lay their eggs in orifices and open wounds.

Each fly deposits around 250 eggs that hatch within 24 hours, giving rise to small first-stage maggots. These feed on the rotting flesh and then moult into larger maggots, which feed for several hours before moulting again. After feeding some more, these yet larger, and now fattened, maggots wriggle away from the body. They then pupate and transform into adult flies, and the cycle repeats until there’s nothing left for them to feed on.

Under the right conditions, an actively decaying body will have large numbers of stage-three maggots feeding on it. This ‘maggot mass’ generates a lot of heat, raising the inside temperature by more than 10°C. Like penguins huddling in the South Pole, individual maggots within the mass are constantly on the move. But whereas penguins huddle to keep warm, maggots in the mass move around to stay cool.

God is not in love with some future version of you.

It's not the you of tomorrow that he loves and delights in; it's not the you of tomorrow, when you get your act together, who he loves.

The cross of Christ is a glaring acknowledgement that we're all screwups.

You're gonna fall short, I'm gonna fall short, I'm not gonna measure up, we're never gonna get to perfection, and even if we could, there's still all that imperfection behind us...

Yet God says "Yeah I know. That's why I made provision for it. And I love you. I love you right now. I love you right where you're at.

Imago Dei. You bear my image."

I like this.

So I found Jesus.

Do I have to save the banana peel as my ticket and give it to St. Peter upon arrival?  Or will they just know?

I like this.

Thanks, friend.

I like when people born in Christian nations and in Christian families are convinced Christianity is the only true religion.  Aren't you just so lucky to have been at the right place at the right time.

According to the Pew Research Center, the USA is 70.6% Christian.

Worldwide, that percentage ranks 99th in the world out of 197 countries and principalities listed.

 4. If you are willing to accept Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior and believe it with all of your heart, you could pray something like this to God from your heart:

"Dear Lord Jesus, I believe that You died on the Cross and Rose from the dead for my sins. I ask you to come into my heart and forgive me for my sins, save me, take me to be with You when I die. I now receive You as my Lord and Savior. Thank You for saving me.  In Jesus holy name, Amen."

If you have placed your faith in Jesus Christ and meant it with all of your heart, you are now a child of God and will go to heaven.

Now that you are on your way to heaven, you should attend a bible believing church and follow in baptism.

The World is slipping away from Christianity.  It was predicted to happen in the Bible shortly before Christ comes back....

Gotta admit, glad this thread is back. Quality shtick/trolling by paddington in here.

I like this.
Me too.

Or a 1-iron
He was totally useless in helping me get with my high school crush, too. Instead of praying to Jesus about her I probably should have spent that time actually talking to her. Thanks, Jesus.

Eta: oh yeah, I also literally struck out in a big spot in front of her in a game by missing a curve ball.

My favorite Bible story is in Genesis when a crowd shows up to Lot's house because he's taken in two angels.  The crowd wants Lot to hand over the angels so they can have gay sexy time with them.  Lot does the honorable thing by denying access to the angels.  However, to keep the peace, he offers his daughters up to the crowd for a good, old-fashioned gang raping.

Praise God.  He is good.

Lot also banged both of his daughters, can't forget that.
