I'm so jealous of my sons getting all of this - Star Wars land, new trilogy, all of it. And yes, they will continue to make ridiculous coin on all this.

Poe Dameron from Force Awakens, that Poe? I'm not sure how that would work since this is supposed to be set between III and IV.

This is set before A New Hope, and Poe was born 2 years before the Battle of Endor (according to wookiepedia), so I'm going to say no.

I doubt it. Vader wasn't big on hoods having the helmet already covering his head, and that guy looked to be wearing a hooded robe.

A/C was up too high in the Death Star. With it just being finished, they were still prolly testing all the HVAC to make sure everything worked.

Disney makes the trailers all look awesome.

I don't have a problem with strong women in leading roles. I quite liked Theron in Mad Max. But what TFA did with Rey was just silly. This looks to be more of the same.

All us geeks know the timeline but I am surprised that they did not include a small caption at beginning that said something like "shortly before Star Wars: A New Hope" to help everyone align themselves.

I know most of the canon was tossed so we are left with the 7 movies, the 2 animated series and acouple of books to draw from.
In any of those sources do we know roughly when the Death Star was built? The movies tell us any time between 3 and 4. Did Rebels give a closer time frame to 4?
