Creepy Cover Songs (1 Viewer)

Hov34

Eephus's Great Great Great Love Child
I know this isn't a "new" phenomenon, but it seems like every trailer for a new show has some creepy/haunting slowed down remake of an old song.

The first major one I remember was Mad World, I think for a video game.

Last night I saw a trailer for a new show called Outlander and heard this:

Dear God

It's gotten out of hand.

Any other covers of old songs that are now "haunting"?

Oh, and in before the Chipmunks.

Aren't those covers just taking the lyrical content and modernizing the synths to their logical extension?

Mad World was originally for Donnie Darko. Then later used for Gears of War ad campaign.

My wife is a huge fan of Outlander. (I had to set up the iPad onto our AppleTV so she could watch it before it first airs on Saturday.) I kept hearing that song, and I kept saying "I know that song, what is it?" Now after listening to it on YouTube, I caught it.

The kid playing bass was great!
