Prince Dead at 57 R.I.P. (1 Viewer)

Alrighty then... Living up here near the Twin Cities, working from home today.. Have the news on.. Notta... :shrug:

 
MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) — The Carver County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a death at Paisley Park, the recording studio for Prince. 

According to Carver County Sheriff Chief Deputy Jason Kamerud, deputies responded to Paisley Park at 9:43 a.m. on the report of a medical situation. 

Later, authorities confirmed that there is a dead body inside. A crime lab and medical examiner also responded to the scene. 

Last Friday, Prince was briefly hospitalized. Prince’s representatives say he had been recovering from the flu, which caused him to cancel two shows earlier in April.

There was an event at Paisley Park on Saturday, April 16. According to reports, Prince appeared and showed off a new guitar, but did not perform. 

Paisley Park is located at 7847 Audubon Rd, Chanhassen, Minnesota.

Commercial break.. But on the way out she said " We continue to follow the story of a death at Paisley Park, we'll be right back"... If there was even a hint it was Prince all Channels here would be "LIVE - Breaking news" .. Right now they are treating it as just another story.. :shrug:

Deputy Sheriff will neither confirm nor deny reports of Prince's death.. That basically tells you all you need to know :(

 
News channels now just filling time talking about his career... Flipped through the 4 main channels.,. Same "No confirmation.. yet.... " Fans starting to gather. :mellow:

 
Confirmed by Huffington Post, one of Prince's publicist, and some others. :(

You may have heard the hubbub on Friday, first reported by TMZ, not necessarily the bastion of accuracy. Prince’s private plane made an emergency landing early Friday morning in Illinois as he was returning to the Twin Cities from two shows in Atlanta on Thursday. TMZ said he had the flu. (He had postponed the Atlanta show from the previous week because of the flu.)

A source close to Prince told me that the singer was dehydrated on the flight home.

Prince himself wanted to clarify the situation on Saturday: “Wait a few days before you waste any prayers.”
