I am in process of putting entire rule-set together. In the meantime below are the highlights to this unique league. Team name must be closest major city to residence plus one word nickname i.e. Orlando Shockers, Salt Lake City Predators.
* Contract Keeper with 12 teams
* League Safe ... annual fee of $75 but pay 1st 2 years initally
* Startup Draft (Rookies and Veterans Combined)--- 1st 6 rounds auction (15 hours high bid clock) then 3rd Round Reveral Draft (14 rounds)
* Weekly Waivers - Blind Bid Period then FCFS
* Start 8 (QB, 2-3 RB, 3-4 WR, 1-2 TE --- no PK or DEF) ---- 20 man roster plus 3 IR ---
* Scoring ... PPR with 1.5 pt to TE... 6 pt all TD including passing
* Contract Cap 40-50 years team / 1-4 year per player
* Victory Points
* Great Playoff System ... Week 13 is Seeds 3-6 where top 2 teams there advance....Weeks 14-16 is an All-Play amongst remaining 4 teams with champion based on record then points
* Toilet Bowl Winner gets rookie pick 1.13
* 100% payout after MFL Fees = 450, 250, 140
* Beginning Year 2 is 3 round rookie draft --- order for non-playoff teams based on Potential Points thereby eliminating tanking
* Expiring Contracts Options - a) RFA get two total b) Franchise Player c) Drop d) Trade
* Free Agent Acquisition Budget (FAAB) is used for a) In-Season Blind Bidding b) Trades c) Franchise Player d) RFA Auction
* FAAB money given to each team in off-seaon with preference to lower teams
* Off-season Calendar beginning after inaugural season:
1st: RFA Auction ... match bid and retain player or give up player for rookie pick(s)
2nd: Rookie (3 rounds) and Veteran Draft (start round 4) ---- basically worse team gets top pick rookie and veteran
* Divisional Realignment --- Top 3 teams starting with 3rd place have serpentine draft to determine divisions after rookie draft
