If we're going '90s, I'd go Chloe Dancer/Crown Of Thorns as one that immediately comes to mind.  

Other than that, there are so many love songs it's not even worth trying to rank order.

"Something" - when Frank Sinatra himself calls it the greatest love song ever, ya pay attention (though he erroneously attributed it to Len/Mac)
