Really just starting this so Tim does not start his own... :oldunsure:

Allows me to better control the propaganda coming out of his mouth.

The Democratic Party wants every Democrat to have a voice in our Platform process.

Our goal is to make this year’s platform process the most representative and inclusive in history. With that aim, we announced a series of events across the country in the hopes of increasing participation. We are also encouraging people to submit their ideas online.

We welcome your input and invite you to contribute now. Please submit all written and video testimony by June 18th.

Someone please tell me there is a qualified African, transgendered, gay man that Hillary can nominate for SC on January 23rd.  Let's get the party started right!

Bernie and Michelle Obama headline Monday night's festivities.

I expect Bernie to ignore most of the DNCLeaks, he will focus on his issues, money in politics, healthcare, and middle-class issues.

Obama will pivot to Clinton in her speech - and most will forget about Bernie by the end of the night.  Reluctantly - this was a smart move by Clinton.

Honestly boring and professional would be very good right now.
I did not watch the Republican convention, and am unlikely to watch much of this one - but the speakers, and the order of speakers - seems to be much better organized by Clinton.  Not surprising because she is a control freak, but even letting Bernie speak, is counter-acted by a popular first lady following him - so if he does go rogue (he won't, but if he did) the Clinton message will be back on track that same night.

There is no real room for discord - even less so with DWS banished to Cleveland for the convention.

There is an undercurrent of anger that cannot be swept under the rug by either of the party establishment-types.  At some point it will boil over.  It may not be this cycle, but it will erupt sooner rather than later.

DNC chair resigning at end of convention. Not sure she will open it up.   This convention can't get out of the station and it's already a train wreck.

DWS is a small part of a big problem - its the establishment culture, of which she is a part, that is the real issue here.  That culture does not change with the removal of a puppet head.

Almost making it to day one of the convention without massive protests and ousting your chairman, solid start.  Can't wait to see what else they got!

Actually no it means this story is over already.
This will be interesting - because I think this actually gives legs to the story that the mainstream media seemed reluctant to cover.

Presumably, the story will now be about DWS resigning, and thus giving some credence to the claims that the DNC was corrupt.

Politically, I thought they played it correctly by eliminating her from the convention, and they should have held off on any resignation until the convention was over.

Bernie's speech tomorrow night will be in prime time. He will be loud and enthusiastic. He will let his supporters know how many concessions he got. He will explain how dangerous Trump is. He will explain how a Hillary presidency helps his movement. He will be energized.

And that will end any talk of disunity once and for all.

Are you trying to convince yourself this ? Chances are you're right. But this could go sideways fast

:lmao:

some diehard Trump conservatives might buy this "Drmocrats hate cops" meme, but the public won't, because it's stupid. There are plenty of police who support Hillary Clinton.

Like how some are trying to paint this as a train wreck already.  DWS re-signing was probably coming at some point regardless.  The RNC is what a train wreck looks like.  Until you have someone like Bernie refuse to endorse Hilary, Black Panthers on stage, etc.  Then we can call it a train wreck.

So, the prelude has been interesting so far.  Let's see how everything unfolds. Lots of Bernie delegates, so we could still see some fireworks...unless the DNC locks them out.
