The defense should be half decent until they start dropping like flies from injuries.I think you're going to be pleasantly surprised by the defense this year. I'm not suggesting they're going to be great but I believe they will be slightly improved from 2014.
Really, the key to the entire season, which has been a key for the past several years is a good pass rush.
I have nothing but full confidence in Dak.
It was the offseason thread. We always start a new one.Wasn't there a Cowboys thread already?
Why not change the title for that thread? There's good info in there.....
Couple???Come on Cowboys fans. I know it's been a rough couple of years but the future looks bright!
Not a bad 3rd stringer though. Still better then Cassell or the "Weedman", imo.Butt fumble....yay us. barf
OK, a rough couple of decades.
That being said, the Cowboys have been run better organizationally in the past two or three years since Jimmy left.
Stephen Jones appears to have more control than Jerry does. It appears we have our future QB, the bulk of the Oline is signed for the next several years, we have a first round stud running back to complement it and while not everyone has panned out (yet), there has been a strong focus on building up the D line.
The new training complex "the Star" is revolutionary and will probably help attract free agents if we can just get them to come and look.
No such luck. He makes Roy Williams look like Deion Sanders in coverage. Was hoping Wilcox would be cut :(
I think it will be a high scoring game period. Both teams put up 30 points at least.Anyone think Eli is going to put up monster numbers week 1?
Is he 3rd string behind Prescott/Moore? or is he 3rd string behind Romo/Prescott? because if it is the latter, he is actually 2nd string for at least half the season. And don't count your chickens with Sanchez until he starts buttfumbling and throwing interceptions all over the place. I actually was in favor of seeing what he could do instead of Bradford after the start of last season. He quickly changed my mind once he started playing. Not a bad 3rd stringer though. Still better then Cassell or the "Weedman", imo.

How old is Witten now? 50? Didn't he play on the Super Bowl teams?Witten re-did his contract today to free up some cap space.
Immediately after signing the deal he fell down.
....and either way... casual fans and media will critique the kid to death. It's the hardest part of being a Cowboys fan. I cannot stand the media coverage of our team:Ministry of Pain said:Also an EzE owner, will be watching and cheering him on.
Dallas is going to expand its fan base and once Dak has full control this team will feel kinda new for a lot of folks. If Prescott turns into Wilson 2.0, lot of fans will want to be out in front of it.
Dallas should be looking to run an offense like what Denver is doing. More of a power run game with boot legs and roll outs for Dak to use his athleticism.Game wasn't as high scoring as I thought.
Positives-
Defense held Eli and crew to 20 pts w/o Gregory and Lawrence.
Witten is still a great security blanket.
Bailey is money. I really wish he would have had a shot in the end.
B.Carr
T.Crawford
A.Morris
Negatives-
Interior D-line was ramshodded with the game in the balance by Rashad Jennings.
Catch the ball Dez.
The game plan needs to change. We cannot run effectively with Elliot if we continue to come out in Shotgun. I understand that Dak is more comfortable coming from Miss St. but the coaches need to find a healthy balance btwn the two
Still frustrated over this loss..And I know its only 1 game, but in the words on Han Solo, I gottta bad feeling...ughhhhhDallas should be looking to run an offense like what Denver is doing. More of a power run game with boot legs and roll outs for Dak to use his athleticism.
