Injury roundup: Rob Gronkowski not expected to play

Patriots TE Rob Gronkowski (hamstring) isn't expected to play against the Dolphins, NFL Network Insider Ian Rapoport reported, according to a source. He'll work out pregame to be sure, and is getting closer to playing.

The team listed him as questionable on Friday's injury report. He also sat out the team's season opener.

Other injury news we're keeping an eye on Sunday:

1. Dolphins wide receiver DeVante Parker (hamstring) is set to make his season debut. Running back Arian Foster is also good to go, according to Rapoport.

2. Panthers running back Jonathan Stewart (ankle) is ready to go against the 49ers, per Rapoport.

3. Dolphins running back Jay Ajayi is expected to play against thePatriots after being benched as a form of punishment last week, per Rapoport.

4. Chiefs running back Jamaal Charles will not play against the Texans as he recovers from a torn ACL suffered last year, according to Rapoport.

Cedric Goldson (Washington DT) knee.  Walking off, but it was the first play from scrimmage.  Zeek may have a huge day.

Panthers running back Jonathan Stewart is questionable to return with a hamstring injury.

Garoppolo left Sunday's game against the Dolphins with a shoulder injury.

Spin:
With Garoppolo forced out of Sunday's game, Jacoby Brissett took over at quarterback for the Patriots. Garoppolo's return the contest was deemed questionable by the team.

Hyde has disappeared after modestly asking to be removed yet again.  It's quite the move that makes fantasy owners worried and it  seems to be his specialty.  No actual reports of injury that I know of, but  worth monitoring.  Consider this a standing call to monitor Hyde at all time over these next 16 weeks

Theo Riddick opens the second half in the backfield for the Lions.  No sign of Abdullah.

No Ziggy Ansah on the sideline either.

Just a heads up...my other RBs are Gore, L Murray, and Jeremy Hill as I've already lost Abdullah and Stewart today.
