from what I've heard, Clarkson's going to lead the 2nd unit. Any truth to this?
That's what they're toying with right now.  Starting Lou at the 2 and bring Clarkson in off the bench.  That allows one of DLo or Clarkson to be in the game at all times.

Clarkson started last night too.

How about Brandon Ingram's 4th quarter?!?!?!?! He's looking more and more comfortable.

Metta World Peace makes the opening roster as player/coach/bench cheerleader/philosopher/bouncer/brawl finisher.

AWESOME start by the young guys.  Future is bright!

  So bright

The Lakers bench with Lou, Ingram, Nance, Clarkson, and Black are fun to watch. Everyone knows their roles and play them better than most teams 2nd squad.

The offence down the stretch was bad. Dribble within 5 seconds on the clock and hoist up a 3. They get a nice win tonight but they need to move the ball better consistently.

Assuming they lose their draft pick, what's the plan going forward? Develop this year and try to land a big FA in the offseason? Any target(s) in particular?

George Hill on a 1 year deal?  Yes please.

The Hill dream was fun while it lasted.  Hoping they can salvage things with Waiters.

Awesome pickup for what they were willing to offer (1 year only).

Think they'll still go after Rondo with their exception?
I just don't know on Rondo.  The biggest problem there is lack of shooting, IMO.  I think the cancer stuff is overblown.  He was good in Sacramento two years ago and the Bulls rookies loved him last year.  It has to mean something that he's still in the KG/Truth inner circle as well.

As a back-up to help mentor Lonzo, I don't have an issue with the signing.  He's a big upgrade over the Ennis/Huertas of the world we've trotted out there the last few years.

Rumblings about interest in Ian Clark for that open back-up G spot.  Would much prefer him over Rondo.  In this scenario, Clarkson plays more of a PG role on the second unit.

Lonzo wears Nikes, goes off for 36/8/11/5/2 on 66% TS last night.  Clearly Nike is his destiny.
