Just got is as a gift. Have already tried the vr pron. Very awesome. But I am old with two little kids. Cant stare at that all day (well, I guess I can)

Anyway, what apps or videos or anything are must haves. 

If there is already a thread, link it. I didnt see anything in search.

I got the Google daydream with the Pixel preorder.  I have had fun taking my own Streetview pics and checking them out with the headset.

 
So far, I will say, the coolest thing is the netflix app. I have watched many episodes of Daredevil and Luke Cage on my note 5 at my sons hockey games. This makes watching netflix an awesome experience. Its not VR or 360, but you are watching it on a big screen. Very cool. I can see myself using this on an airplane or even at the rink. I dont care if I look stupid

The other things seem cool but can lose its luster after once or twice. I have not downloaded any games yet. Im thinking a puzzle one might be a good one to start with

 
What's the iPhone equiv of this? I only see the Samsung being advertised, but I can't imagine apple dropping the ball on this whole VR thing.

 
There's a VR Rollercoaster called Rilix that my family likes.  We had Grandma and Grandpa try it out over Thanksgiving and it was a hit.  It's not a long ride, maybe 2mins.  You're supposed to be able to download multiple coaster simulators from them as well.  I haven't tried that yet.

So you buy this VR thing.... looks to be around $75 bucks.... then what, you need to buy this thing you call pron or that's free somewhere?

Is there any strain/fatigue from viewing this HD video inches from your eyes? Or does it not actually appear to be as close as it is?

(and I don't mean chaffing)

Is it hard to grab your own Johnson while that thing is strapped to your face?

 
Yeah I guess I just sort of assumed that porn was the only reason for this. combine it with a fleshlight and we're one step away from WestWorld

I'm doing some work on my house - I should probably think of building a "Safe Room" I mean, before the Bots are affordable.

 
I've had one since March and have barely used it.  I've been intrigued by the 3D porn, but not enough to try it out.  I am afraid THAT will be the exact moment that I have a heart attack and either my wife or my kid will have to find me with my pants around my ankles, johnson hanging out and those stupid looking goggles wraped around my head.   :bag:

I mean, VR + fleshlight for pr0n is pretty much Westworld without the $40k/day price tag or ability to be murdered by a rogue host.

No strain. Not true hd but it doesn't ruin it for me

 
I bought the game arcslinger, and it's pretty cool.  I wish I could save my game though, it keeps restarting back to the beginning when they put me in the coffin.

 
Just had my first WOW moment 

The app called VR next has a live NBA game once a week. You are essentially sitting closer than a front row seat. Time and score is a look down away at all times. 

I do not particularly like the NBA but if this is an indication of where this technology is going, wow. I would pay for an NHL version for sure. 

Very very impressed with VR next. 

 
There's an app called Hasidic VR where, everywhere you look, Hasidics are all around your home and invading your community.  It's amazingly real.

 
Discovery VR is awesome.  Really amazing content on there.  Swim with sharks, walk between a herd of elephants, all crazy stuff at Discovery channel/National Geographic type quality.

It is noticable on my note 5. It is like the picture is never really perfectly in focus. But it doesnt take away from my experience. Im sure it would for others. 

Nerflix looks fine, but no where near how it looks on a TV. But if you are on a plane, or have time off at work, it beats watching on the 5 inch screen, hd or not

 
I had the Daydream with my pixel I've only tried it a few times but watching the movie is pretty cool but I don't think my phone would last an entire movie watching it and you definitely look like a weirdo if you're on a plane LOL

No porn though :(

How much better than 3D?  3D football is pretty dope.

 
The video game awards are on vr next live right now

Which led me to want this thing to multi task. I wish I could watch any live event while surfing fbgs or any other site. They way it is right now, I can't even watch netflix and see my battery status and time. 

Someone needs to get on that asap
