Detroit at New Orleans (1 Viewer)

really surprised Stafford didn't check out of that the Saints had a ton of guys on the line / in the box

Last year we smoked them early in the Superdome on MNF (21-3 start.) Had Abdullah and Calvin then, this team is giving looks to Andre Roberts and TJ Jones.

2nd down the Saints went two TEs with a lineman in the backfield, got 7 yards. Def showing a lot of looks early.

Swaggy looking good early

:wall:   penalties

Saints have been covering Ebron consistently with LBs need to exploit that all day-

I'm surprised they didn't just call that Boldin catch a TD and have it reviewed.

TD Riddick though.

deep pass to Tate (1-on-1 coverage) then 12 yarder to Boldin & then the TD to Theo

11/12 - 118

For those not watching...Since 2015 and in the red zone, Stafford has 41 TDs and no interceptioned with a QB rating of 117. Impressive to say the least.

A'Shawn Robinson with a knock down on 2nd down, he's been playing really well the last month

Blitz on 3rd down forced Brees out

The inside push by the DL and a little pressure from outside is making Brees uncomfortable in the pocket.

The Lions are winning the battle at the line of scrimmage on both sides of the ball.

Nice job after the holding call - good tackle by Bynes on 2nd down. Doing a good job getting pressure on Brees.

Lions defense has the fewest missed tackles (41) in the league.
Saw that the other day. Pretty basic stat but huge in not giving up big plays.

Honestly it's not a very talented group. Slay is good, Ansah not the guy he was a year ago due to injuries. Weak at LB but good schemes have shored that up (early they were awful vs. TEs.)

One area Stafford has improved a lot the last couple years is footwork, moving in the pocket.

Washington looking good today.
