*** OFFICIAL *** FFA WAGERING THREAD - Merry Christmas!!! (6 Viewers)

"It is always difficult to enter UNLV and win. It is always difficult to go anywhere on the road and win. And UNLV has a new coach, so they are doing some things differently," Utah State Aggies head coach Craig Smith said. Of course, Smith is very familiar with the new head coach of the Rebels, TJ Otzelberger. They coached two years in the Summit League together as arch rivals: Smith as HC of South Dakota Coyotes, Otzelberger as HC of South Dakota State Jackrabbits. Back in 2016-17 Smith and the Coyotes landed first place in the conference - eliminated from the postseason tournament by Otzelberger and the Jackrabbits, who subsequently advanced to the NCAA Tournament. During Smith's final year at South Dakota they finished second in the conference behind the Jackrabbits and lost to them in the championship. They familiar. All told, Smith is 2-4 career against Otzelberger: 2-0 at home and 0-4 on the road/neutral site games. Tonight's game in Vegas will be their first since leaving the Summit League for the MWC, and Smith laying 7½ in dude's house he's never beaten without a home-court advantage. I'm just sayin' ... I also found this little tidbit, too. It's been three days since Utah State's last game. Since he became Utah State's head coach last season, opposing teams have gone 12-1 ATS (avg line +4) catching Smith away from home more than 2 days off. In that situation, as long as they weren't double-digit dogs, the Aggie opponent went 7-3 SU and lost all three games by 2 points. Opponent also 6-0 ATS L6 against Smith's Aggies in games with a total lined 141 or less, with the last two decided in overtime.

UNLV +7½ -102

Opposing teams 6-0 ATS L6 catching less than 2 TD on the spread vs Bama, scoring 23,28,34,44,46,48

that's chronological scoring too, nice little trend line formed

@jziernick 31 Dec 2019 Looking ahead to the New Years Day Bowl Games we see a MASSIVE consensus on Alabama over Michigan at DraftKings Sportsbook! 86% of the overall spread handle is on Bama

i always wanted to do once of those $25 to 1k challenges.    i think with the crew here, I could have a chance.

Bet 1: Wis TT over 13.5 1st Half $25 to win $47 WIN

Bet 2: Baylor over .5 1st q  $47 to win $84

I’ll ride witcha. Let’s have some fun.

Fading teams off the AAC Championship Game has gone 7-2 SU and ATS with underdogs perfect 5-0 straight up. The only teams to lose in that spot have been Florida State (-7) and Auburn (-10) who both failed to score more than 6 points in the 1H sdql

At work (sigh) so not able to watch but I see that BC/Cinci is in a weather delay.  Is weather going to stay bad enough we should live bet that under 45.5?

Man this :censored: in Birmingham is exactly what it was billed to be. Thought I'd found an angle. There were plenty of other reasons to bet BC too besides the AAC angle. At least BC got their senior DB back out on the field. Dude had his helmet taken away by concussion doctors earlier

I have always liked betting against highly ranked teams, going on the road to an unranked opponent.   Wish buffs were home dogs and I would like it even more.

I'm with you on the Texans, and I'm worried because it sounds very likely Fuller is out.

Also on the Pats.  If that ship is really sinking and Ryan friggin Tannehill is the one to sink it for good, he'll have to show me.  Not going against NE as a small home favorite against a middling team that got hot against bad teams.

I have a very strong lean on the Titans.   What's being forgotten is that the Pats played a very weak schedule.    In a game the Pats had to win, they lost to the Miami Dolphins...that's very concerning to me.  Titans on the other hand, had a slightly better SOS and were obviously hotter down the stretch.   Tickets and money are largely split on this.  I got Titans +190 on the ML and I think that's the play getting almost 2 to 1 on what could be the better team.

You are correct on the Pats.  I'm basing my play on their history.  May be a mistake, but I can't go against them in this situation.

that's the narrative, Pats history vs. perceived current form.  Good luck.
Is it?  I feel like I'm going against the trendy dog.  Pretty much every tout I saw this week took the Titans.  Good luck to you too.  Won't surprise me at all if you're on the right side.

no trend really, money and tickets are relatively split in this game and I follow most of the top Touts and they seem to favor the Pats.  Feels like I'm on the contrarian side.
