Most people I've worked with would probably be surprised to know I was "into sports".  Always been able to keep it compartmentalized amazingly well.

No sense talking shop to someone who doesn't gamble, outside of a public perception "mush report" while acting like a dummy.
That's exactly my story as well, I don't talk shop at work

hbo ain't right for making that chernobyl ####. there's no way it's remotely historically accurate, especially on a historical level, and I think it's irresponsible. it should be in russian and english subtitled, for starters. just gross bro. sickening
Its so good, I'm obsessed with chernobyl, both the show and what really happened.  Humanity really on the knives edge

Umm...We have our annual conference in Vegas for my company.  The joke is "If you ever are wondering why facook isn't in the current session, it's because he's in the sportsbook with a cocktail."  So I'm not so good at not talking shop.

Damm, I took Braves -1 tonight.  Shoulda posted for you guys to fade.

FYI: Also on Az F5, and Phils under 5.5 F5.  Feel free to fade and make dinero.

Since it's basically June I started using the breakdownsheets guy's excel file to see how his models line up with how the market has the games priced. His year-to-date on MIL/PIT is right at -124, but the L30 days is more like -140. So maybe there's value in that, plus with the way Chacin's road favorite starts have gone, that might be a good investment.

One game that is totally flipped is the Cubs/Cards matchup, in which his model favors the Cubs, and actually has them as the slight favorite at -110. So it was curious to see them listed as the underdog. I just figured out how to download the spreadsheet today, so this is just a start. And now I gotta go run errands and junk. CHeers bro

Well dudes, had something interesting happen the last few days.  Had like .47 cents in my bovada account from god knows when.  Not enough to wager on a sports game so I tried the casino.  Played .25 video poker, hit a flush and maybe a 3 of a kind or 2 right away, drove the total up to about 2 bucks.  Sweet!  So I parlayed a live bet of the Rays in extra innings (Adames hit a walk off single I think?) with the Blues winning OT game 2.  We win!  Up to $12.  Played a slot machine Bulletbroof Babes, won a bonus round up off of .40cent spins, total now up to $40.  off of .47 cents!  Yesterday morning I think maybe my luck hadn't run out, autoplay 20 spins of $1 each on Ronin, also a slot on Bovada.  On a non-winning spin my total went from like $27 bucks to $1970ish, I hit some "random jackpot' thing.  HOLY ####!  Still, didn't think there was any chance i'd see that money as I hadn't made a deposit it was just leftover bonus money that started this.  Initiated $1870 in withdrawal via bitcoin...which was paid out last night!  We have approximately $1600 left in random medical debt from the kiddo, which a .47 bonus amount just paid off.  Gonna take the family out tonight for dinner with the difference.  Left me with $100 in Bovada to play with too....so we playing cards tonight?

Holy crap dude.  That's awesome.  I can't believe you won on an online "slot".  :)

I have irrational man-love for Ruiz. He looks like a fat piece of ####, but he's got incredibly quick hands and a good chin. And if it were Wilder at +1300, I'd be mashing the button because I think he'd give DW hell. Ruiz's one loss was a disputable decision, and if he were unbeaten I'm absolutely certain those odds would be shaved down.

But Joshua's a smart fighter, and he's mobile enough to just stick-and-move with his jab (8" reach advantage) and not get into the trenches with Ruiz. And Joshua doesn't have the fight-stopping power of a Wilder, but he's very precise when it's time to put someone away. I think the play here is Joshua on points 6/1.
Ruiz gained six lbs in six weeks. Training for a fight. The fight.

It's things like this that make me believe in baby jesus

Dang. Maybe not. Brewers moneyline is the #1 wager at S&O. And Boston is #2. Man sometimes I really dislike consensus stuff.

Same.  I doubt it'd be the best look for the guy in charge of finance dept. to be known as a degenerate, even a winning one. So, my wife gets to hear my gambling talk.  I swear she spends more when I share too many positives.

Wheeler night starts 24-10-3 O/U L3 seasons +$1,343 (3rd MLB)

  • 11-4-1 O/U away
  • 19-5-1 O/U when Wheeler struck out more than 4 in his previous start

One of our finance VPs is known as a porn addict

i don’t really broadcast it, but I usually end up finding another coworker that likes the gambling and will have occasional chats with them

But yeah when you start explaining to someone how you have multiple local and offshore accounts that you have to fund via bitcoin or send racks of cash in the mail just so you can get down on prop bets you realize you may  be on another level and have disclosed too much

This reminds me of Boiler Room.

guilty

5d offers the -1 but at a slightly higher price than if you build one yourself. So if you're worried about income ratios, payout/price and a stricter ROI.. always build the -1 yourself. The only way I see that paying the higher price could be justified is if one were simply more interested in convenience and/or looking to parlay the -1 RL.

Silver lining is that it reflects well on his background in finance that his addiction is something that can be obtained on a wide scale for free. You should mention that next time y'all are at a party or on a flight together.

um well she's not Mexican but she is the reason I've lost all this weight. also I'm still unsure what she's really mixed with so yeah. that's what you meant right
Sure, sure.  Well that, and that you're completely addicted.

Who offers -1 run lines besides 5dimes?
You probably already know this, but you can build it yourself (as chainsaw said) anywhere.  Split your bet 1/2 and 1/2.  To Win 1/2 on the money line, and risking 1/2 on the run line.  Then if it falls on one you push as you would on a -1 bet.

M's 40-18-2 O/U this season (1st MLB):
G2: 9-10-1 O/U
Everything else: 31-8-1 O/U

They went under last night in G2. Gonna try the over tonight. Action-junkie style.

Angels/M's o9 -110

I was told there'd be no math.  :bag:

Thanks @facook and @ChainsawU.  I've been betting more bases than ever which mostly means I've been tailing Gamehunter daily.  I kept seeing those -1 bets and hadn't stopped to figure it out for myself.  Doh.
All good bro.  We're all always learning in this endeavor.

How's gamehunter been doing?  I tailed him for a while a few years back and just treaded water.

My favorite was when Gamehunter posted a GOY preseason NBA basketball total and moved the total like 10 points by himself - back when he was really hot and had the entire world tailing him. And I'm not exaggerating, he really called it that. The man wrote the words GOY NBA Preseason Basketball in the same sentence. Did it hit? I don't remember. But that's not the point.

Ben Gamel is a dude, probably my favorite player right now. He has done more clutch stuff in the random games that I've seen him in. And dude has kind of a unique look to him that doesn't yell "badazz clutch mofo" the first time you see him. dude has to be like MLB's best-kept secret or something. I know probably sounds weird

He's doing decent. He tweeted his ytd record a couple of days ago. Up around 7 units, doing much better on sides than totals so far.

who's your favorite team right now, have you noticed anything different this season, etc.. also do you watch the actual games (should've been my first question)
Watch baseball?  :lmao: . I don't have any good answers for you. I'm just trying not to lose too much while covering my strikeout props.

Stroman has no history versus any of the Rockies as individual batters and no history versus the team in general. And no history at Coors. What kind of pitches does he throw? Sinker? Do sinkers sink at Coors?
