*** OFFICIAL *** FFA WAGERING THREAD - Merry Christmas!!! (12 Viewers)

Who do you guys like in the super bowl?

My first thought was SF money line and the over but I could see Mahomes carving up their good defense too.

It seems like a really hard game to pick.
I’m seeing the over/under at 55 and hearing a lot of folks liking the over. That’s a lot of points especially considering that the Niners defense is for real and their offense is predicated on the run. I think the winner is a coin toss so I wouldn’t bet it (though I always lean towards the better QB so I’d go with KC) but I’d feel pretty good betting the under. Looks like I’m in the minority on these boards though.

This line says La Tech will win two consecutive road games + UAB will lose two consecutive home games, all in a three-day span. And I don't believe that.

UAB +4½ -105

After facing Utah on Thursday the Huskies will complete the two-game road trip with Saturday match up against the Colorado Buffaloes
Washington coach Mike Hopkins 5-0 SU and ATS against Colorado: Four regular season matchups plus one game last March. All four regular season matchups came after facing Utah. Both times dude has taken his squad into Colorado and won as the road dog in G2 of a two-game road trip on Saturday after playing the previous game in Utah on Thursday.

Washington +8 -108

My college hoops card, more square sides than usual

AZ -5 and ML

Cal Baptist -6.5

Oakland -9

USC ML

Kentucky ML

Austin Peay +1.5

BYU -2.5

Baylor ML

Memphis -4

A&M ML

GaTech -1

Superbowl Thoughts

My initial lean was Chiefs at -1 and the more I research the more I feel confident about the Chiefs side, but could admittedly go either way.   I think the Chiefs will carve up the 49ers secondary.  I also believe the Chiefs defense is being undervalued by the public and some touts.

I am also on the under at 54, but am hoping to get more units on it if the number goes up even more which it usually does.

Still reviewing props where I usually play player yardage unders, but Mahomes and Moestert totals look low and trappy.

Louisiana Monroe HC Keith Richard is horrendous going from home to road. Spent the last two games at home. They 4-22 SU in that spot L5 seasons, all four wins came in the month of February, like it took them a while to get the hang of it.

My day sucked yesterday but I just won't learn. Going back at it today.

backing Minnesota on the road
L4 seasons Rich Pitino 17-7 returning home from the road. The over went 18-6 and 7-0 when they won the previous game (and 11-0 when they either won the last game or at least kept it to a one-possession loss). Rich and the Gophers 15-1 career at home on Sunday.

I know for sure I’ve wished Kobe dead a bunch of times betting against the Lakers over the years...... I just want to say for the record I was only kidding and had nothing to do with this.

If I'd known there would be more serious defensive play at my family reunion flag football game than the Pro Bowl I would have played the over.

Update: Iowa Sportsbooks suck.  Bill Hill, my belly button.  Can't even bet O/u on undercard or bellator.
I'm five min from a sportsbook that opened 1.5 months ago, still haven't been there to check it out, so much effort to go there in person and I know the lines are probably awful.

Mahomes rushing anywhere from 31.5-34.5.  Seems like a huge overreaction to the last couple of weeks, but that dude scares the crap out of me.  Thoughts?

I heard Russell Wilson only averaged 28 yards rushing per game against SF last 4 meetings on Sirius XM today. Havent looked into this to verify it, but seems like a fair comparison.

Love the Lebron side here at sb.ag.  Fade away beaches:
