I'm pretty sure I got worse as this thing went on.  Shader got me in like 12 moves but it was apparent after 7 I was done.

I'd suggest an interactive app instead of a book.  I don't have a specific recommendation but I'm sure there are several good ones that you could decided from after looking at ratings and reviews.
