I can understand how someone can support trump. What I can’t understand is being completely unwilling to be critical of anything that this administration does. This certainly isn’t every trump supporter, but there are a lot of people that don’t think he can do any wrong.

Yeah I would say it's pretty much every Trump supporter.  They turn a blind eye to everything any other President (or for his family or associates) would be crucified for doing.

I'm so old, I remember when a Republican administration tried to promote ketchup as a vegetable in school lunches.

What happens to White House documents, minutes, emails etc once this Presidency is over? Are they available for public record after they are redacted? I have to believe for years after there will be gradual information released that will provide plenty of oh my gosh head shaking moments and books written by those who will claim how appalled they were but stayed in the administration to keep him in line.

There's a Presidential records act which is over and above the public records act, but it's considered to be basically in constant violation by Trump. Just one example is the apparent destruction of the notes from the Putin Helsinki meeting and IIRC Bob Woodward's book had reports of Trump basically just tearing up memos and notes and throwing them away.

We all knew this was coming.

After a massive tax cut for the wealthy that lead to trillion dollar deficits, Trump now says it’s time to look at cuts to Social Security and Medicare.

Once again, he wants working Americans to pay the bill for corporations and billionaires.

So,

1. Trump was salty to some degree in his comments.

2. Meh implies less than great.

So, how was "everything" excellent as alleged by HT? Or are you conceding that "everything" wasn't "excellent"?

Just the fact that the team showed up makes it excellent from Trump's perspective. Something that used to be an honor has become something that half of championship teams decline even doing because of who occupies the White House.

Indeed. This needs to be front and center during the campaign. Along with announcing the release of the Republican health care plan, followed by a shot of a piece of paper with "Don't Get Sick" written on it in sharpie.

I would advise against making the focus about Trump - it didn't turn out so good for Hillary, and I think it leads to people just not bothering to vote.

The democrats need to focus on THEIR message and want THEY want to do if elected.  They need to inspire people to vote, not pile on by harping on how awful Trump is.

KERNEN: Tesla's now worth more than GM and Ford. Do you have comments on Elon Musk?

TRUMP: Well -- you have to give him credit. I spoke to him very recently, and he's also doing the rockets. He likes rockets. And -- he does good at rockets too, by the way. I never saw where the engines come down with no wings, no anything, and they're landing. I said I've never seen that before. And I was worried about him, because he's one of our great geniuses, and we have to protect our genius. You know, we have to protect Thomas Edison and we have to protect all of these people that -- came up with originally the light bulb and -- the wheel and all of these things. And he's one of our very smart people and we want to-- we want to cherish those people.

One of the symptoms of neurosyphilis is vision problems. It’s particularly difficult for victims to read under less than perfect conditions such as distortions in the text, perhaps caused by rain drops on a TelePrompTer screen.

For those of you who aren’t familiar with how neurosyphilis is contracted, it commonly occurs after living 15-20 years with untreated syphilis.

So if someone slept around in the 1990s and went to a quack doctor who would tell a patient whatever they wanted to hear, they could likely be suffering the effects today. Diagnosis requires a spinal tap and it does not show up in blood tests so routine physicals would not reveal that a patient is suffering from it.

Other symptoms include confusion, sudden personality changes, changes in mental stability, dementia, moodiness, slurred speech, paranoia, and incontinence (sometimes early in the morning, perhaps while tweeting).

Type "untreated syphilis" into Google......

NOAA Document dump from hurricane Dorian

Remember when President Trump accidentally mentioned Alabama as being in the cone of Dorian, but instead of saying “oops, my mistake”, he doubled down and marked up a map with a sharpie rather than admitting he was wrong?

"What concerns me most is that this Administration is eroding the public trust in NOAA for an apparent
political recovery from an ill timed and imprecise comment from the President"
