I don't think it was a good idea to indirectly remind people of the OSU wrestling scandal.

I love when Trump completely makes up quotes from calls with people. Humorous.

It's always nice when Trump admits to obstruction of justice.

I hope Kansas State wins an NCAA title so we can see which state he congratulates when he's told they are from Manhattan.  (KS that is)

Yes and there is also an Arkansas City, but it is Kansas, not Arkansas.

That makes no sense.  Trump didn't make up a city.  He picked the wrong Kansas City.

And that applies how? There is a Kansas City Kansas and Kansas City Missouri. It's one big metro area. Arkansas City has nothing to do with this.

Trump mentions if his kids behaved like Hunter Biden they "could make a fortune" seeming to overlook all their international business dealings.

Why hasn't the media or some Democratic politician attempted to make this more of an issue? I guess there is still plenty of time for stories about how Trump's kids are benefiting financially as Biden's family has.

If it wouldn't hurt so many of their own, I'd love to see the Dems make getting rid of nepotism in politics a talking point. After all of the Biden crap, it'd be great to see Trump respond.

"Er, um, ok, about that...."

Trump never squirms. He just turns the accusation right back on the accuser.

"No puppet! You're the puppet!"

That's his only play. It works on his supporters and on a certain percentage of undecided voters. And that's all that matters.

None of it will likely stick, and they have had 3 years now to draw some of these connections, but haven't had much traction outside of some of Trump Hotel stories and Ivanka's international dealings. Just seems like an easy target to at least create a controversy and put Trump on the defensive. Not sure if any of this stuff though really hurts Trump.

We don't have enough fact-based media to keep up with the documentation of Donald's misdeeds. The right wing authoritarian playbook is to wear you down with misinformation and malfeasance.

Maybe he should have Nunes submit a motion to that effect, which can then be debated. The House could even schedule hearings to look into whether sufficient evidence exists and subpoena more witnesses.  I like it.

Pompeo showed the plan.  Going to tie China/Communism to socialism in case Bernie the nominee.  Sowing the seeds.

Avoid obedience to Russia.  Make China the enemy.

This works with their base.  They can switch in a week.  Romney and Mccain an example how they can turn on a dime.

The Republicans ability to turn push their base anyway they want is a big advantage.

It is like rows of soldiers vs guerrilla fighters.

No consistent policy just winning.  It works.

Not sure where to put this so I'll just put it here.  On Face the Nation Margret was getting on Grahm's nerves, you could see it in his face.  2 points she should've brought up but didn't.  Grahm kept saying the info from Ukraine is bad, ok so why is Rudy continuing to dig into it?  She did ask how Rudy is being paid and he said he didn't know.  She should've asked why is Trump directing Rudy to continue to research this?  Also he brought up Hunter a couple of times.  She should've asked the question how is it different from Trumps kids, as many in here have said.

Our media F'ing blows when it comes to asking the right questions and/or failing to ask the right follow up questions when they give bogus answers.

Trump budget plan would fail to eliminate deficit over 10 years, briefing document shows

Quote

Trump’s first budget projected the deficit in 2021 would be $456 billion. Instead, it is projected to be more than double that amount. (912 billion deficit)

Quote

During the last year President Obama was in office, the deficit was less than $600 billion, but it has grown significantly since then.

More proof how much better the nation was under Obama, not that we needed it.
