The last daily White House press briefing was held one year ago — on March 11, 2019, when Sarah Huckabee Sanders was still Trump's press secretary.

I really dislike this misnomer that the Second Amendment is "under siege." It's a really big deal/issue out where I live, to the extent that it makes many vote right wing, and I wish democrats would do something to try to disspell it as a major issue.

It seems a lot of people's logic centers aren't working, because even the most left wing extremist out there should know that endorsing gun confiscation is going to torpedo their political career pretty much anywhere. They aren't coming for our guns, people!

Seriously, the lines of bull she was dishing out was ridiculous.   What's the point in having press briefings if the info is filled with lies.

Like appointing Beto to "take care of the gun problem"?

Just a continuing breach of duty and the oath of office by the President, that's all.

I don’t know how this can be real

I got the same email.  After a few questions about how best to run against "Crazy Bernie" and "Quid Pro Joe" it moves to:

Quote

As of today, who will you vote for in November?

President Trump

A Big Government Socialist

And it’s from the official Trump campaign? I have to believe it’s a joke. Lots of trolls in the Trump camp.

Brad Parscale <contact@victory.donaldtrump.com>

Same organization I get emails from 2-3 times a day looking for donations. His "polls" are always phrased that way.

A bit off-topic, but I'm a big fan of his granddaughter, Margaret, the new host of Firing Line. She's a terrific interviewer.

@natesilver538

If you're wondering why my tone implies that the primary is basically resolved, here are our polling averages for the 4 states voting on Tuesday:

FL: Biden +42.8
IL: Biden +29.9
OH: Biden +24.6
AZ: Biden +24.5

I thought Biden said he is a gun owner and gun guy? Guns and abortions' will always be mentioned in election years.

You talk about a crazy ### year - we are not even to the quarter pole yet, and already:

1.  Soleimani strike - near war with Iran

2.  Impeachment/Acquittal of the President

3.  Global pandemic disrupting societies and economies.

(Not so) Fun Fact:  :(

The Dow closed at 19,827.25 on Inauguration Day, Jan. 20, 2017.

The Dow closed at 19,173.98 today.

The Dow has now erased all of the gains made during Trump's presidency.

After only two weeks of limited business, Trump can't make his property loan payments to Deutsche Bank.
