Lets lighten things up a bit. In honor of National Pie day, let's pick our favorite.
was gonna stipulate 'w/pineapple' - but thought it might confuse some Hayseeds into thinking I was referencing PizzaSo good. With the pineapple chunks.
The whitest of white pies. Who could have seen that coming?Man this is tough but I think I have to go coconut cream.
No surprise Mr Miserable couldn't lighten things up. No pun intended. The whitest of white pies. Who could have seen that coming?
Time of year also a big factor. There are about 10 different ones that I would have a hard to deciding on. Really depends on my mood.

Yeah. Of those listed, it'd be either Key Lime or Pecan (somewhat depending on season, as others have mentioned). Other favorites not listed:There are about 10 different ones that I would have a hard to deciding on. Really depends on my mood.

Yeah I don't think most in here have tried it otherwise it would have a lot more votes. We have some rhubarb in our backyard and look forward to my wife making this every spring.mr roboto said:Strawberry rhubarb is the best but it's hard to find.
What's it taste like? Sweet? Bitter?Yeah I don't think most in here have tried it otherwise it would have a lot more votes. We have some rhubarb in our backyard and look forward to my wife making this every spring.
Both. It's the perfect combination of sweetness in the strawberries and tartness of the rhubarb. Put a little scoop of vanilla ice cream on top and it destroys apple pie. It's great even without the ice cream. What's it taste like? Sweet? Bitter?
