Just started Episode 5, episode 4 was phenomenal. Cranston is amazing in this show :popcorn:  for when you catch up to me.

 
3 episodes in, probably my favorite amazon show yet.   Which isn't really saying anything but it's really good. 

Love Margo. Thinking of her character as the same one from the Americans adds to the enjoyment. 

Absolutely in love with Marin Ireland.  She Looks a lot like my wife but with longer hair. :wub:   actually, only in some pictures.  In others her face looks flat.

Finished season one. Solid. Little predictable but there were some twists.

Backdrop is set for season 2 with two story lines. 

I'll be tuning in for another season.

I posted in the Breaking Bad thread last night that Cranston basically gave the "Half Measures" speech in E4.

It is a good show. I thought they were doing too much with Julia/Lance romance stuff which seemed like extra fluff, but by the end of E5 I see how it's going to matter. 

Will probably finish S1 tonight.

 
It seemed to me  that Season 1 wrapped everything up rather neatly. I will watch season 2 just to see where they go with the story lines and hopefully to see more of the brunette with the great ***.  

 
Season one was very well done.  A lot of twists and turns.  

a lot of the pieces came together a little too neatly for my taste, but I can't knock the cleverness

...it felt like a weird combo of BrBa, Fargo and Justified...not as good as the first two....

 
Just finished it and I loved it. I really liked the grandparents relationship. It was touching.

 
Damn, I'm gonna have to give this a watch. I'm definitely a Cranston fan. The wife and I watched "The Infiltrator" last night and it was pretty awesome.

Well I started watching it on Amazon seriously.  Made it through like 3 shows and can't find the rest of season 2.  Black parole officer guy, Brian cranston in the show more, Pete's old crew trying to help him break into the safe.  Brother gets his toe cut off.

Thats all season 1 seriously.

 
Just wrapped up binge watching this.  I liked it.  Acting was fantastic as to be expected with this cast, and the story was well done.  Yes, the plot comes together a little too neatly but that's how con stories have to work - it makes them satisfying imo.  Enjoyed the crap out of it.

 
I just got done last night, watched the whole season over the course of about a week and a half.

I did have a question about the "whale" in the last few episodes though, I can't figure out how to hide content though...cool to just ask the question?

here is my question:

If the "whale" with the federal protection wasn't in on the con, how was he always winning at the casino? I assume the brother was dealing him the cards whenever he was working at the casino but there were a few times the whale won big at the casino and the brother wasn't working


 
I’m on the 5th episode of Season 2, enjoy this show a lot. Not sure how long they can keep it up but it is enjoyable and easy to binge.

They said the inside guy was there to identify the best player to play the role of the whale.  It was just a bonus that he was under federal protection.

Finished season 1 last night.  Will start season 2 tonight.
