Better Off Dead
That would be mine on many days.  "I want my TWO DOLLARS!"

I also loved the brothers who talked like wide world of sports or whatever.  Great flick.

Was Spies Like Us an 80's flick?

I showed Ferris Bueller to my class this year just before Christmas break. The kids didnt like it. And it didnt have that same feel it did when I was younger.

Just saying

2nd quartet, based on personal memory of seeing the movie rather than quality:

After Hours (2am at my college GF's house after a long day/night out)

Nightmare on Elm Street (as part of a snow-enforced overnight stay at the theater where I worked)

Raising Arizona (during one of my first beach weekends)

Risky Business (at a friend's house -- a bunch of us broke in through a window while they were on vacation)

Empire Strikes Back

Spies Like Us

Terminator

Princess Bride

Raising Arizona (Trump will carve his head next to Abe's, so this is the fifth)

Hard question.  Tough to nail down 4.  Gun to my head, it would be:

Back to the Future

Aliens

Full Metal Jacket

Empire Strikes Back.

Full Metal Jacket

Princess Bride

Breakfast Club

Planes, Trains and Automobiles

This list could have gone 100 deep - forgot how many great movies were released in that time frame.
