Let's get going with the BOLD predictions for 2017

Teams:

Tribe win AL Central by at least 15 games

Padres lose at least 110 games

Brave finish above ,500

Players:

Panda Reloaded: Pablo's OPS north of .800

Mike Trout doesn't finish top 3 of MVP voting.

Tulo singles in his first AB of the season, the proceeds to fall under the Mendoza line until Mid May again. Posty doesn't think the Mendoza Watch is warranted because the guy was hitting 1.000 at one point of the season.

Teams:

Pirates win the NL Pennant

Red Sox miss the playoffs

Braves enter September within 3 games of a playoff spot

Players

Nick Castellanos AL MVP top 3

Joc Pederson hits 40 homers

Hector Neris saves 40

Teams:

Atlanta snags the second wild-card.

Seattle wins the AL West.

St. Louis finishes last in the NL Central

Players:

Mike Zunino hits 25 homeruns.

Neil Walker outperforms Daniel Murphy in the counting categories.

Carl Edwards Jr. becomes the Cubs closer before the All-Star break, and will lead the majors in saves from that point on.

Tribe finish 3rd in AL Central

Justin Upton leads AL in homers

Mariners win AL West

Yuri Gurriel is AL ROY

White Sox lose at least 111 games

i gotta think on the NL ones

RnR: doesn't have a ton of things to say himself, but he has things to say about things that you say!

Anyways, I'll go with:

1. Joey Votto leads MLB in wRC+ (or OPS+, wOBA, OBP, take your pick just as long as it's not AVG or RBI) and it's not all that close

2. Dodgers win 110 games

3. Hosmer breaks the single season record for groundballs

Team bold predictions:

Cubs fail to win the NL Central.

Red Sox fail to win the AL East.

Mets hold a July fire sale after pitcher health lets them down once again.

Player bold predictions:

Mike Trout becomes the 5th player in MLB history to join the 40/40 club.

After a 6.15 ERA in his first 101 IP with Arizona, Shelby Miller turns in a sub-4.00 ERA as a key member of the DBacks rotation in 2017.

Gregory Polanco becomes a household name in 2017, putting it all together offensively on his way to a strong campaign for NL MVP.

Players:

Neftali Feliz leads the league in saves

Jose Reyes finishes top 5 on the player rater among 3b and beats at least 1 of the first rounders

Rich Hill does it all again and more innings

Team:

Rangers finish with the best record in baseball

Tigers finish with 2 of the top 3 Cy Young voting (Verlander and Fulmer)

Oakland wins more games than KC

Team:

Angels worst record in the AL.

Cardinals back to the WS.

However many losses is enough to be considered bold for the Padres, they lose that many.

Players:

Christian Yelich top 3 in MVP voting.

Jose Quintana top 3 Cy Young.

Byron Buxton demoted again. :(

Before the all Star break, Morton is a top 20 pitcher

Guriel has a .325 OBP and 23 HRs

Keuchel finishes top 30 SP

Ryan Zimmerman is relevant

Reds will be the worst team in baseball by a wide margin.

A monster year at the plate powers Carlos Santana to an AL MVP.

Moncada destroys AAA pitching and is called up as soon as the White Sox can without burning a arbitration year.  He goes on to easily win AL ROY.

Nationals have the NL east wrapped up by early September.

That high on him? Been offered him for Segura straight up, AL only pts league. Would ya?
In a vacuum, I think I would (and I even had Upton last year). He finished strong and has had a good spring. Definitely seems under-rated right now whereas Segura seems over-rated to me.

Agree on Segura, only obtained him because I had Tijuan. HRs are most valuable in my league I think I'll take a shot.

Teams

Seattle not only ends the longest post-season drought in MLB, but they also represent the AL in the World Series.

The Nationals finish with the most wins in MLB, but lose to the Cubs in NLCS because Maddon out-coaches Crusty.

The Mutts fail to make the playoffs.

Players

Kris Bryant mashes 50+ dongs and leads MLB

Thames finishes as a top 6 1B

Bregman joins the ranks of stud 3B and passes Donaldson in next year's draft

Blake Treinen leads NL in SV

Anaheims get a wild card

Shelby Miller leads Diamondbacks in Ws and Ks

Loving the Thames prediction. Hate the Nats prediction, let's split the difference. This is the year.

5 players steal 50+ bases. Running becomes trendy analytical hotspot.

Royals and Orioles luck runs out, both finish last in their division.

Phillies are in the wild card hunt in September.

Taijuan Walker top 5 in Cy Young voting.

Gary Sanchez OPS under .775

David Price wins 15 games.

Blake Treinen leads NL in SV

Anaheims get a wild card

Shelby Miller leads Diamondbacks in Ws and Ks
Since timestamps matter, let the record show that I made this prediction the day before Treinen was named as the closer in Washington

The NL...

Dodgers don't win the NL West

The NL East gets both wildcards

Addison Reed leads the NL in saves

Joe Buck is caught giving a handjob to the son of former National League Commissioner Leonard Coleman

Blake Treinen leads NL in SV

Anaheims get a wild card

Shelby Miller leads Diamondbacks in Ws and Ks
Treinen lost the closer role

Angels tied for last place in the AL West

Miller left his start yesterday with forearm tightness

Fail fast is good these days, right?
