2017 Anarchy Super Team Contest (1 Viewer)

Anarchy99

Footballguy
As mentioned in one of the other Anarchy threads, I am starting a contest open to anyone to try to build the single highest scoring team based on total points using "standard" Anarchy rules (using the following scoring system):

- Total points for full 21 week season (Week 1 through the Super Bowl)
- No player moves. Whomever you take as your "team" scores each week. The team with the highest point total after the Super Bowl will be declared league champion.
- No player substitutions once the NFL season starts.
- Rosters will be comprised of 2 TEAM QB, 4 RB, 5 WR, 2 TE, 1 FLEX (RB/WR/TE), 2 PK, 2 DEF
- All TD = 6 points and RB = 0 PPR, WR = 1 PPR, and TE = 2 PPR.
- Passing 1 yd = 0.04 pt. Rushing and receiving 1 yd = 0.1 pt.
- Interceptions and fumbles = -2 pts. Successful 2 pt conversions = 2 pts.
- FGs = 3 pts up to 39 yards and 5 points 40+ yards. XP's = 1 point. No penalty for missed kicks.
- DEF scoring: 2 pts per turnover, safeties, and conversion returns; sacks = 1 pt, DEF/ST TD = 6 pts.
- Additional DEF scoring: 0 points allowed in a game = 10 pts, 1-6 points allowed = 5 pts, 7-13 points allowed = 3 pts.
- Total net yards allowed in a game: 0-199 yards = 10 pts, 200-249 yards allowed = 5 pts, 250-299 yards allowed = 3 pts.

Any player on any NFL team can be rostered. Make up a team of 18 players as long as it fits the roster requirements listed above.

There is no cost to participate. Winner will receive a one year Footballguys subscription.

*** POST YOUR TEAM IN THIS THREAD, LISTING ALL PLAYERS FULL NAME, TEAM, AND POSITION. ONE TEAM PER PERSON ONLY. ***
YOU CAN CHANGE YOUR ROSTER UP UNTIL 8:00 ON 9/7 (Start of the regular season). Any entries or teams with changes date stamped later than that will be disqualified.

You know, with the amount of overlap thus far, what someone really needs to do is create a contest entry consisting solely of names that haven't appeared on anyone else's list. Statistically speaking, they'd probably have a better chance of winning than any other single entry out there.

I'm not saying ... I'm just saying.

All I care is that there are no matching entries.

Thought of it too late, but next year will change up the contest rules so you can only pick one player per NFL franchise. That should create a little bit more diversity in the team rosters.
Actually think you'll get more diversity the current way, especially as soon as NE is a huge favorite to win the bowl.
