Week 2 Questions for Bloom (1 Viewer)

Got offered TyMont/C.Coleman for Gilly/M.Bryant .5 PPR. Other backs are CMC, Martin, Carson, Lewis, Perine. WRs Obj, Tyreek, C.Davis, Zay. Pull trigger?

Hi Sig, thanks for the help!

Please pick 1 for Flex: (0.75 PPR)

Corey Davis, Abdullah, M. Lee, Tevin Coleman (already playing Freeman), Buck Allen, Cooper Cupp.

4 pts per passing TD. Everything else standard.

* M. Mariota @JAX -- Tough matchup. J. Ramsey may be banged up. TN offensive line is NOT the HOU offensive line.

* A. Smith vs PHI -- PHI lost their top corner. Tough front seven but weaker back end. A. Reid also with good track record when extra time to prepare.

Which one?

Thanks

4 pts per passing TD.

* B. Rothlesberger vs MN -- Tough MN D, but Big Ben seems golden at home. Or is he maybe getting close to done?

* M. Mariota @JAX -- Middling results last week against OAK D. A bit concerned about facing "Sacksonville."

Which?

Thanks

Thank you in advance for your time.

1 - Start marquis lee over devante Parker if LAC's starting CB's are expected to be active on Sunday? TENN defense was very friendly to WR last year and against OAK last week. Denv split ends didnt do a whole lot on monday v. SD defense

2 - my league is a 0.5ppr, start qb, 2rb, 2wr, 1 wr/te, 1 te. in my auction i overspent on gronk (20% budget), and then later int he auction i ended up with kelce (5% budget) because he went for way under value. last year in my 0.5ppr, kelce would have been WR14. He had a tough first game, but do you see similar output to last year or a downturn this year? considering sending kelce plus wone of my WR3's (deseaon, coleman, cobb) to try and get a consistent WR2 type, but perhaps i already have that in kelce

3-how did AP look to you monday night? he looked like he could produce if given a full load (is he trying to talk his way out of town?), but ingram for sure looked faster and kamara sure got a lot of snaps and looked like a NFL running back (subjective eye test is all I am basing my take on). i feel like AP is worth rostering until ingram gets hurt... but tough to burn roster spots on a guy who got 9 snaps.

TE Question in PPR:

* C. Brate vs CHI -- Smoked CHI last year for something like 7-80-1. CHI let Hooper go wild. CHI also lost their best inside LB.

* C. Clay @CAR -- May be Taylor's favorite target. CAR poor against TEs. That said, CAR D overall could give BUF a hard time and control time of possession.

* J. Cook vs NYJ -- Jets poor all around. Will Carr need him?

Which?

Thanks

How does Brissett affect TY's rankings this week.   Also flex question Buck Allen, T Williams, R Kelly or JJ Nelson (non ppr)

League Info: 10 Team, 1 QB, PPR, Short Bench (5)

Roster:

QB: Wilson, Carr

RB: Bell, Fournette, Gillislee, Rawls, Stewart

WR: Keenan, Demaryius, Devante Parker, Crowder

TE: Olsen

I typically don't carry 2 QB because of the short bench, but this year I have found myself with Wilson and Carr. I've tried trading one, but haven't found any takers so I'm considering dropping one to clear space for waiver wire pickups or streaming DST/K/TE. Having a difficult time deciding which to drop.

Possible free agents include: Kelley, Javorius, Mixon, Carson, Corey Davis, Kupp, Cobb, Eifert, Fleener

Keep Wilson, Carr or Both?

0.5 PPR, Only have 2 spots (1 WR, 1 FLEX) for these 3:  TY Hilton, J. Landry or T. Cohen

Who should I bench?

Also currently starting J. Howard and T. West as RBs, in case either of these are better bench options.

Thanks in advance!

Also, would you drop Houston D to stream other defenses?  Their CBs are hurt, and their next 3 opponents: NE, TEN, KC

NON-PPR, 1 point/15 yards, 6 pt TDs (duh.)

Start 3 WRs

Jordy Nelson

_______________

_______________

Choices for the two empty spots : Sammy Watkins, DeVante Parker, Tyrell Williams, Emmanuel Sanders

TIA, hope all is well with you, GB.

Bloom baby,

Greg Olsen still a TE1 in Dyn or sell after a few big games? Panthers have given Olsen $2mil in in performance incentives.

And would you start DeVante Parker versus the Chargers or Lockett versus San Fran? Ppr

Rank these RBs as stash candidates:

Ivory, Tolbert, Breida, Carson, Oliver, Morris. Don't own any of their starters, just looking for an end of the bench guy.

Thanks!

How confident are you in Tarik Cohen this week and going forward in PPR leagues?  Is he a one week wonder or will he be able to consistently deliver 10+points ala Sproles?

Pick 2:

Martavis, James White, Kerwynn, Devante Parker, Corey Davis

QB-RB-RB-WR-WR-TE-Flex-K-Def Standard Scoring.

Also - trade Martin and Martavis for Crowell?

Starters: Brady, Keenan, Bryant, T. West, Lynch, Gronk, D. Parker

Bench:  David Johnson, Kerwynn, Corey Davis, James White, Tyrell Williams, Doug Martin.

Bloom!!  Thx for doing this for us!  My 2 Q's that are looking for your 2 cents are...ppr league

1) Hogan or MBryant for my flex

2) Trade of Julio/Eifert for AJ/Ertz who do you think wins??

Thx if you get to one or either of my q's!

Pick 3 WR's:

Dez Bryant, Jarvis Landry,  Wallace, Kupp, Golladay, John Brown

Pick my 2nd RB to go with Leveon:

Gore, Powell, Kerwynn Williams, Burkhead

Thanks Sig!

Always appreciate you doing this every week, Sig.

League 1 - Standard scoring (non-PPR)

Scenario 1: WDIS at RB2 & Flex (pick 2):

  • Crowell @ BAL
  • Choen @ TB
  • Diggs @ PIT
  • Corey Davis @ JAX
Scenario 2: Looking for a DST for this week/ possibly a regular starting DST. Currently have LAR (vs. WAS)

Available DST's are:

  • JAX vs. TEN
  • TB vs. CHI
  • LAC vs. MIA
Question: do I hold LAR or scoop one of the above DST's off the wire?

League 2 - .5 PPR

Scenario: WDIS at WR2:

  • Thielen @ PIT
  • D. Parker vs LAR

League 3 - .5PPR

Scenario - WDIS at flex:

  • Adam Thielen @ PIT
  • Abdullah @ NYG
  • M. Bryant vs. MIN

Thanks in advance

Hi Sig - I appreciate the responses, this if for 14 team 0.5 PPR league.

My team is:

  • QB: D.Presccot
  • RB: K.Hunt
  • RB: J.Allen
  • WR: D.Bryant
  • WR: S.Diggs
  • TE: T.Eifert
  • Flex: M.Bryant
  • Bench1: E.Sanders
  • Bench2: D.Henry
  • Bench3: C.West
  • Bench4: A.Luck
  • Bench5: D.Johnson
(No IR Spot…..)

I feel like I’m going to miss on a ton of WW value because I have two injured guys on a short bench (5). However, it’s worth mentioning that 8 teams make the playoffs, and I’m currently 1-0, likely 1-1 after this week.

Three Questions for you:

  1. Should I drop D.Johnson? (We have week 14/15/16 playoffs)
  2. As a K.Hunt owner, how stubborn do I have to be on holding C.West in my situation? Should I drop him for either E.Ebron or P.Richardson?
  3. Same question with A.Luck, should I continue to hold on to him? Should I drop him for either E.Ebron or P.Richardson

Sig,

Rank these WRs for the remainder of the season. Who would you roster?:

  • Kupp
  • Golladay
  • John Brown
  • Amendola
  • Paul Richardson

                                                                    C.Fleener vs NE

                                                                    C.Fleener vs NE

Monday night flex. Have OBJ penciled in but if he doesn't go Engram, Riddick or Marvin Jones in his place? 1 pt PPR

First-time poster, long-time subscriber here.

12-team non-PPR league. Have David Johnson and Doug Martin, so went RB-heavy on waivers this week, grabbing Buck Allen, Kerwynn Williams and Chris Carson while dropping some receivers in the process. As a result, only have four WRs currently (start two WRs, one flex) and believe Crowder to be the worst of the bunch (have Tate, Hogan, Coleman otherwise) and Paul Richardson is a free agent. Do I pick up Richardson for Crowder? I didn't see the Seattle game, but did watch the Redskins game and Crowder did not look good to me. Understand that Crowder was likely not 100%, but even so, Richardson was close to Baldwin in snap count, and the idea of Richardson potentially growing into a 1b WR for Seattle feels like a higher ceiling story than what I can see for Crowder. I imagine Crowder should still be considered the higher floor option of the two, but I'm in it to win it.Thoughts?

You da man Bloom! Appreciate any feedback (including I'm idiot for considering this move).

PPR league.

Pick 2:

* C. Hyde @SEA -- Garbage time catches. Looked good running. Can we count on the receptions again? May not have much running room.

* A. Theilen @PIT -- Tougher matchup this week, but hard to sit this guy after last week. Would be a shaky play if Bradford out.

* T. Williams vs MIA -- Looked good against tough DEN cbs and roasted MIA last year in same matchup.

Note: RBs get 1 pt for every 4 rushing attempts.

Which 2?

Thanks

Sig, 2 QB league, do you go with Brissett or Glennon (my options are terrible, I know)?

PPR league would you go Kamara or JJ Nelson as a flex this week? Thanks!

12 team PPR 6 per TD league (SHORT bench 4 spots) QRWTFFKD -  50+ yd td bonus.

Do I trade Rivers and Golden Tate for Winston and Martavis Bryant

Current team -  Rivers, Zeke, OBJ, Cooper, Fitzgerald, Ertz, K, D   (Bench:  Watkins, Mixon, Tate, James White)

2QB league, have Winston, Bradford and Goff. WW is thin (scooped on Brisset) and we only get 5 FA moves a year. Bridgewater was drafted.

Is it worth using a FA move on Keenum in the event that Bradford is hurt (knee has me spooked).

Would love to hear your thoughts on the Seattle backfield, how you think it'll shake out. I see this going one of three ways and I'm completely discounting any Lacy value. What is more likely? Carson isn't like Cohen in Chicago, he isn't going to be the CoP guy.

1. Rawls shares the starting role with Carson and Prosise continues to be the CoP guy. Rawls and Carson have marginal value in non-PPR, Prosise potentially usable in PPR.

2. Rawls is the guy and Carson spells him based on game situation and Prosise is Prosise. Rawls is startable in non-PPR, Prosise potentially usable in PPR, Carson is essentially a strong handcuff.

3. Carson shows he's for real, Rawls takes the goal line role and Prosise is Prosise. Carson has marginal value in non-PPR without the goal line opportunities, Rawls is the handcuff.

Wait for Beckham on Monday, or roll with a flier like JJ Nelson, Kearse, or Hogan instead?  I think ODB plays this time but I'm interested in your take on how ready he'll be.

12 team standard league. I’m having issues with Odell being questionable on MNF.  6 pts per TD.  1 pt per 20 yrd.  Should I bench OBJ for D. Parker? There is no one to pickup on MNF.  Thanks Sigmund.

QB: Brady
WR: OBJ, D. Adams, T. Pryor
RB: Gordon, T. West
TE: Eifert
RB/WR Flex: T. Cohen

Bench: D. Parker, M. Wallace, A. Kamara, C. Carson, R. Burkhead

Hi Sig, good to be back

Ok so in my local starndard league, no ppr, this week, we start QB, RB, WR, 2 FLEX (RB or WR), TE, K, DEF

After the horror show Dez put up last week and the matchup this week in Denver, i'm actually considering benching him for Jaquizz Rodgers or Tarik Cohen

So going Stafford, M.Lynch, AB84, D.Baldwin. Need 1 from Rodgers, Dez or Cohen (could also consider Hogan or Rishard Matthews)

Thanks and Good luck to you too sir!

12 team--- .5ppr--- 2RB, 3WR, Flex, TE

Was offered Kelce/JStew for Gore/ESanders. Do you like that trade? Additionally Ivory is a FA do I drop another bench RB (Burkhead/Breida) to stash him away? You sound pretty high on him lately.

Current WRs: OBJ, Baldwin, Fitz, Sanders, CDavis, ZJones

Current RBs: Lynch, Crowell, Martin, Gore, Forte, Burkhead, and Brieda

Current TE: Clay

Sig,

14 tm PPR, got a trade request Gillislee for either Freeman or Lynch

My team:

QB:  Brady, Eli

RB: Devontae Freeman, Lynch, Doug Martin, Ellington, McFadden

WR: Hill, Cobb, Golladay, Marvin Jones, Lockett

TE: Rudolph

His Team:

QB: Rodgers

RB: Coleman, Gillislee, Burkhead, Carson, J Williams

WR: OBJ, Baldwin, Moncrief, Maclin, Stills

TE: Eifert, Fleener

I don't like the trade, but was thinking of countering with Brady, Freeman, Cobb, for Rodgers, Gillislee, Baldwin.  Is that too strong?

Figure Gillislee gets about 70% of what Blount scored last year, in our league, that puts Gillislee at 160 ish pts (800 yds, 13 TDs), and if Freeman is going to regress this year, Martin can come close to matching his production down the stretch and Gillislee's production will have to tide me over until Week 5.

I suck at gauging trade value...Maybe I should probably wait until after next week and hope the Pats put up a good showing against the Saints.

Any thoughts would be appreciated...

Thx Sig
