Miami at LA Chargers (1 Viewer)

Conservative game plan by Gase - 12 rushes and 10 short passes. Landry has 6 catches for 26 yards. Trying to keep Cutler out of trouble?

The real question is, are there more than 50 people in attendance at either "LA" game. Hope both teams go 0-16 but neither owner would care

The Cutler era is off to a very boring start. Landry has 8 catches for 30 yards. This is not a game plan for an experienced QB like Cutler.  And that end-of-the-half Hail Mary was thrown 10 yards out of bounds. The running game was successful, but that should set up some nice play-action down field passes.

How the hell does Mel Gordon have just 16 yds receiving halfway into the 2nd qtr, and no rush yds?!
There are a few reasons, but the biggest one, IMO, is that he got a bad spot. He really should have a rush yard.

Super conservative play calling by Gase, but Parkey nailed the 54 yarder. Now Rivers has just over a minute to get Younghoe Koo in position for a game-winner.

Why didn't Rivers try to get it closer on 2nd and 1 with 19 seconds left. Versus a 44 yard FG with a kicker who has no confidence.

Can someone splain what happened?
Chargers have ball on the 23 with no timeouts and about 19 seconds left, 2nd down.  They center the ball which makes it 3rd down, but are totally confused as to whether they're going to spike the ball or just run the FG unit out on the field.  With 10 seconds both Rivers and Koo are both out on the field.  Fins are confused defensively too so they inexplicably call a timeout to bail out the Chargers who probably would have either watched time run out or gotten some kind of formation penalty.

So Chargers get to attempt a 44 yard field goal to win it, but miss.

Wow, thanks and bummer as I just picked up Koo.
