Yeah. When I read this quote: "Who gets credit for doing and developing mathematics, who is capable in mathematics, and who is seen as part of the mathematical community is generally viewed as White," I couldn't help to think that she obviously doesn't have a very big Asian population in her community. Replace "White" with a blank and ask all the students at my kids' high school to fill in the blank with an ethnicity and 95+% put in "Asian."

I'm having a hard time reading this in a way that doesn't sound like she's saying minorities are somehow inherently worse at abstract reasoning. Hopefully, it doesn't sound that bad when read in the full context rather than just one pulled quote.
