Buy Low - Sell High - Week 9 (1 Viewer)

Still think Ryan, Freeman, Coleman, Julio, maybe even Sanu are a buy.

Fantasy Playoff schedule

Week 14 - Home Saints

Week 15 - @ Tampa

Week 16 -  @ Saints

ATL is a mess.

I am going to try to sell Richardson high.
I know they have been.  Yesterday was rainy and Julio still got his 10 PPR points.

Owner in my league this week sent out of a feeler for Julio, asked if he could get him for Cooks and Keenan Allen.

Thoughts on Brandin Cooks and Keenan Allen going forward... Seems like if you pick the right WR's to buy low on you could hit it big.

Many underperforming WR'S

I sold Julio earlier this year. Cooks & Allen for JJ? TAKE IT!!!!

With Zach Miller injured rookie TE  Adam Shaheen is a nice sleeper pick to emerge since he is coupled with a rookie QB who will 'likely' rely on the TE to bail him out.

Also, Jake Butt is a good call.

Was offered   Allen, Cooks and Mixon  for  Cooper, Lamar Miller and Hunter Henry

Won't give you my roster construction, but would this offer be a buy low on Allen and Cooks because they are on bye and coming off sub-par games?

Blount - teams will be jumping off this ship fast and I don't think his role changes much.

He's going to all but disappear.  We didn't trade for a 3 down RB for him to not be featured.  Blount will still get a bit of change of pace work but no more than 7-8 carries a game.  He wouldn't be starting on your fantasy team again this year.

I think Ajayi comes in and becomes more of a threat to Smallwood/Clement/Barner.

Blount’s been as advertised, but he’s only been on the field a third of the time (heading into last week).  IMO, PHI wanted to shore up the rest of their rushing attack which has been sporadic.

Offering Collins AND Kamara OR  Martin for Watson.
I don't think that will get it done.

Collins has potential, but it's still muddled in Baltimore; and Kamara is great, but he's still the lesser 1/2 of a RBBC in NO.  Watson is the man at QB right now.  Without knowing the other owner's roster/needs, in a vacuum, I don't think I'd do that trade.

Nah...Blount is all but done.

Maybe on the obvious side, but Elliott becomes a really interesting redraft buy-low if you're confident that you're going to make the playoffs and his current owner isn't.

Feels like that kind of deal will go down in a few league, and probably swing a few.

Yeah, I'm hoping that after Collins had his best showing and Ingram fumbling twice I could cash on their present value.

Buying:

Tom Brady & Russell Wilson

Kareem Hunt & Lamar Miller

Corey Coleman & Sammy Watkins

Jake Butt & Evan Engram

Selling:

Drew Brees  & Alex Smith

Leonard Fournette & Melvin Gordon

JuJuSS & Nelson Agholor

Jack Doyle & Cameron Brate

He countered Watson fur shady and kupp.

I countered Kamara, Collins, kupp and he accepted

When is Coleman coming back?

Why buy on Sammy? What makes you think things will change with him?

Is Jake Butt playing ?

My team was ravaged my a ballsy trade for Zeke last night. I need to stock up on some buy lows and get lucky. Trying to come up with names...will take any other suggestions people have.

Also, am looking to sell Fuller. Anyone done any redraft deals with him?

Also curious about the Watkins call.

Fwiw, this week's upgrade downgrade waiver report had him as a 50%+ guy, so you're not alone. Just wondering the thinking.

Watkins just finished a gauntlet of a schedule matching up against top tier #1 CBs.

You would have also expected him to start slow moving to a new team and learning the system. He could have a nice 2nd half for an offense that is much better than anyone thought it would be.

As a Watkins owner who drafted him and has been waiting/watching all year, I could see him being a decent buy-low right now. But I wouldn't go anywhere near 50% on him as a waiver bid. That made me do a double-take.

If you believe in Watkins talent he is a buy among the other reasons stated by LivingTheDream.

He has performed badly enough that you may be able to get him for a price that you won't regret if your wrong.

I got Watkins in a trade last week after the other guy basically made me take him.

Planned on dropping him but less than thrilled with the drake Breida Mack types I could drop him for. Guess I'm holding... For now.

and he’s ranked as the 41st WR on the top 200 going forward list.  I really want to pick him up (for Benjamin) but that ranking surprised me.  Paul Richardson is also available and they have him at 19 I believe.  This is a short bench league obviously.

I'm curious what people think the General perception is of Ted Ginn. I see so much energy devoted to figuring out Snead but Ginn has been in place as the no. 2 since the summer. Though the Saints have definitely changed concept (successfully) I do think Brees will put up some TDs moving forward. In NO Ginn was drafted everywhere but I know nationally his career rep of dropped balls and streaky deep specialist has stuck with him.

In both of my dynasty leagues, the Watkins owners still have a sky high price on him.

What did you have to give up to get him?

I've been trying to acquire him all year in one league and want to put another offer together for him now that he's officially been suspended.  It's a one player keeper league and he can't keep Zeke any longer so I'm thinking of offering D. Freeman straight up for him... hoping that will be enough since he can keep Freeman (he has no other keeper quality players).

Just bought Bell in redraft league from an owner with a bunch of byes and is in a do or die. AJ Green and Lynch. I'll take it.

Anyone buying low on Corey Davis returning possibly this week? Will he jump back into the starting roll or be used sparingly?

It's redraft only:

Dak, Freeman and Dez for Zeke, Fuller, Ben and a significant amount of $$$ money

It was bold but I was swinging for the fences. My thought process was Big/Tyrod have nice schedules coming up can come close to replicating Dak. Fuller is red hot and may just be flat out better than Dez or could net me something nice in another trade. Freeman has been trending downward.

And essentially just had his “pre-season” with his QB over the bye week.

This is a supreme talent when healthy.

I'm not sure what kind of analytics you're using, but I've got all neutral and plus match-ups from now until week 14. And, this week without Jenkins makes things particular interesting. Should be telling going forward.

Going up against Xavier Rhodes, Marshon Lattimore, Patrick Peterson and the Seahawks D is plus/neutral???

Well that's an issue for you then. I don't care if a particular defense is giving up huge points overall, if they're going to blanket the WR1 and hold him to nothing it's not a good matchup.
I'm not talking about numbers on the scoreboard... I'm talking about numbers to WRs, in fantasy terms. Like I said, I'm not sure where you're getting your analytics, but if you trust them, then all good. I'm plugging in Watkins this week, and it will be a litmus test for the rest of the season, in my opinion. Will be looking at target share.

I am talking about fantasy points. If a team gives up the 5th most points to WRs, but holds WR1s to the 4th fewest PPG, it's not a good matchup for the WR1 playing them.

Sammy against a Giants D without Janoris Jenkins is a plus matchup. But he has 4 very difficult games ahead of him. So the statements made by others in this thread that things are going to ease up for him are not accurate.

Ok. Good luck!
